TnT's Forward Momentum!

Tut tut mate sort it out :muscle:t2:

I’ve tried but couldn’t figure it out. Perhaps I need to get on a laptop instead of my phone?

Good to be 43!

Happy Birthday!

A wise person once told me that, if you are lucky you will get to spend many more years being old than you ever did being young.

Not that you’re old…yet!

That’s an excellent way to look at aging! Thanks for writing that.

Agreed! My grandma used to say, “life begins at 40!” I’ve heard others say the 40s and, if healthy, much of the 50s are still relatively young, and “old” sets in at 60.

Thanks for the birthday wishes @omats @ChongLordUno @Spock81 @ChickenLittle!! I’m feeling better about 43 than I did 40 through 42 :+1:

In a sense, you’re not wrong :joy: This past Christmas was the first time I’ve received a tie for a gift, the tie I’m wearing in the picture, which my Mom gave me

I don’t see any restrictions in place or settings changed, so give it a shot. Can you read posts but not reply? Double-check the notifications settings on that thread to make sure it’s not muted.

Sorry for the trouble. You can shoot an e-mail to Mods@T-Nation.com to not hijack the log. And yep, happy belated b’day.

Thanks for replying, Chris! I was able to find his log and, sure enough, it was muted. Thank you for the birthday greeting, too. T-Nation is a community that I’m glad to be part of, and your moderation is a large part of why this online community has thrived for so many years.

I knew I’d be weak going into this workout so considered running today and lifting tomorrow. I’m glad I lifted, and I’ll post arms and shoulders after lifting at home.

ETA - I went to bed early instead of doing arms and shoulders. I know, the bro in me died a little with that responsible decision. I’m going to do them tonight (Wednesday) before intervals runs.

Just saw your testimony - hallelujah! I was away from t-nation for about 10 years, found faith and now occasionally visit. Congrats on the great lifts/life attitude!

Thanks for checking in! I hit an emotional dip around my birthday and took an unplanned but not unnecessary deload week. I’m now back at the business of life and losing fat. I’m glad y’all weathered the literal storm!

Thank you! It’s great to hear from a fellow believer; it’s truly wonderful you found Jesus and He found you!

I took a decade-long break from this site, too. A few years, I stated posting regularly and have grown to enjoy this community. You’re welcome to post here whenever you’re on the site :+1:

A week-long deload (more like no-load) and I’m back at it. I’m taking this week to reaclimate and figure out the next step. More about that in the upcoming weekly update .
