Great job Trent!

Thanks Shane. I did that entire metcon in my Peloton shoes. It was pretty hilarious. :joy: At first I was going to switch in and out of the bike shoes but kept thinking, “Wait, I think I can do burpees (etc.) in the bike shoes.” and ended up just doing all of it with the bike shoes on.

That’s funny man. Doing jump squats in peloton shoes could have got dicey. :joy:

That is a heck of a session Trent. LoL at your son’s dinosaur’s show and tell. My son also loves dinosaurs. My wife found a good trick to save money from buying toys and books, take them to the library. Free new dinosaur books. :+1:

Thanks Shane. Every once in a while I tell him that dinosaurs are extinct. I don’t think he understands what that means yet. :joy: 10-4 on the library. Good tip!

Comments: Lots of beers went down yesterday at the pool. Then a huge steak dinner last night. Went to the gym around 9:00AM this morning and really liked it. It was almost empty when I got there. Supersets galore. That widow maker squat set was brutal, as always. Done.

Will check the journals at work.

Widowmaker squat sets after a day of drinking sounds like a lot of fun!

Very solid let day, post drinking day or not. Great job Trent!

Thanks Shane. To be fair, it was more of a late afternoon and evening of drinking but close enough. :joy: I think the steak gave me a lot of energy this morning.

Still a kick ass pace Trent! Great job!

Thanks Shane. My general rule now is to ride in the zone above what the instructor says (if possible) on Power Zone rides. On the rest intervals I try to keep it right at or above 20 mph. So a high zone 3/low zone 4. Can’t really swing that on Olivia’s rides though. LOL :joy:

The 20 MPH recovery rule definitely helps keep overall pace up. Still a kick ass pace for any hour ride. :+1:

Comments: Well, that will put hair on your chest… My buddy texted me that Anthony Diaz metcon. He did that one yesterday morning, so I figured I’d give it a shot. There was no official weight, so I picked 95 lb. 115 lb probably would have been better but I’ll be happy with no injuries. That took 20 minutes and I wanted to get more work in so just went straight into Half Murph. It felt good to do that again and it felt nice without the vest. Done.
