Tlaib and Omar Barred from Israel

If he doesn’t get in now, he’ll be dead before he has another opportunity. It’s early yet. And no, I am not for taking trillions out of the economy and add it to the government in one fell swoop.

I would like to see an example of it working, large scale in a place like the U.S. before I cede it to the gov. Once the gov. has it, you never get it back. That’s why laws are hard to make, it supposed to be.

I’m honestly unsure of it being workable federally. I do think the great laboratory of the states should be the first port of call.

Edit: Germany is working fairly well with 80 million. I reiterate that I am not sure how scalable these systems are, but it’s currently an unknowable.

You’re asking for something literally impossible. No applicable comparison country exists on the planet.

That’s a mighty big document. Can you just post the part about private insurance?

What did I say?

So first, lol. Because

I hate it when you make Zecarlo’s jokes so spot on.

The entire document explicitly allows private insurance to exist, because nowhere in the bill are private insurance companies made illegal or had abilities rescinded. Even Bernie’s plan, which is easily the most extreme mainstream plan, allows private insurance to exist. The limit it places is on private insurance to offering equatable coverage as M4A.

The entire concept is such that the govt option would cover a wide range of basic-up-to-advanced things, with a list of things it does not. The consumer would then be free to purchase private insurance for the things it does not.

Coupled with your benchmark of a literally (intentionally) impossible standard and obviously not having done any research, I seem to be wasting my time here.

I just don’t get some peoples “piety” sometimes…

So…you can bone-jump some married man (and who knows what else…)
But God FORBID you should show your hair in public?

To each his own, I guess…

I am very Americanized, so let me tag @dt79 who lives in Asia, and see what his response might be. For instance, I agreed with his take on the current HK/China situation but would not have been able to articulate it as well as he did.

(I’ll see if I can add anything following his response.)

I think the average Chinese person doesn’t know much about Jews on a cultural and religious basis. We just think they’re really good with money and the IDF is fucking badass lol.

Hey I can only go by what I know. And his desire was to eliminate private insurance. You posted the big long article so I figure you should easily provide where private insurance fits in for say, plastic surgery or what not.
I can hurl hundreds of pages of documentation at you too. I just need the roll of Bernies plan where private insurance plays a roll. I don’t want to read 120 pages any more than you do. I just need the pertinent parts.

There is plenty of piety right here.

Well that should tell you something. It’s self evident.

So do South Koreans.

Strange that his desire didn’t make it into the bill

It was the bill itself, not an article. Seems like a weird mistake to make if you clicked on the link.

Go for it. Bluff called

It does. I don’t believe you to be a complete moron. Therefore the only option is to believe you intentionally created an impossible benchmark for your own mental gymnastics.

You are in no position to talk. What’s good for the goose and all of that.

Do I need to say it? Surprised?

Nah nothing Pat does surprises me anymore. In one of the ‘why do Muslims suck’ thread I got him to disagree with his own post from 50 posts before just because I started saying it (and it was an exact quote).

He’s so deep into Zeb like partisanship his only speed is ‘disagree with the Dems’

I wonder why the Chinese and Koreans believe in this White Supremacist, anti-Semitic canard.

Large swathes of the Middle East and Africa do, too.

It is bizarre.

It’s coming…

Well, how did you answer?
