This guy seemed kind of miserable, but nevertheless we had a good conversation
I hate that though, when you talk to someone and you can feel the negative energy emitting from them.
It was inspiring to hear that this real estate agent dude was a full time college student, was working a job, and in addition he had a similar role to one I was applying to. Apparently he was able to sell a couple properties and make a lot of money.
I have a good shot at getting this role. Dude emailed saying it was a pleasure meeting me asked for my school and work schedule since both dudes are going to train me apparently on selling a property beginning to the end.
Iām praying my mechanical subcontractor co-op doesnāt disqualify from this opportunity.
We arrived in Miami last night. The plane ride was pretty chill, no crying infants or loud people. I just read my commercial real estate investing book and keys to progress. Although there was some cretin vaping behind my mother til he got caught.
Yes I did mention real estate once more in my log, because I am better than anyone reading this and the heathens on the plane watching movies or shows, preposterous
I brought my āKeys to Inner Universeā book so I am prepared to train once I board the cruise ship.
Of course my max effort days arenāt going to be so āmax effortyā more like lots of reps. Iāve already seen the fitness center via YouTube.
I hope you enjoyed your Christmas and I also hope you will enjoy celebrating the New Years as well.
I am currently sitting in the airport, as I have debarked from the Carnival Celebration cruise ship. The best parts of the cruise were randomly running into family on any floor and then just start congregating.
For example, my mom and I would run into our uncle, and then suddenly one of my aunts shows up. Then one by one, my cousins and other aunts/uncles start showing up. Weāll huddle together like sardines in the middle of the walkways or at the eating establishments on the ship.
Every time would would see each other while on the ship, we would act like we havenāt seen each other yesterday or 5 minutes ago.
I did train btw, but only 3 times during the week. Unfortunately I got some goofy ahh illness.
@T3hPwnisher Hello Pwn, I saw your response on your log.
I am going to be doing the definition diet as it is written in Keys to Progress, so no counting calories this time.
Itās simple and now that I purchased a Ninja DooHickey, I can commit to it.
My only concerns are freezer/ refrigerator space, meal prepping, and how fast I can eat meals.
God forbid I waste time consuming some dry or tough cut of meat. That really gets on my nerves to be honest.
How awesome we were both cruising dude! Hope you feasted!
My most immediate solution to that is grassfed sour cream, or sour cream with the least amount of additional junk. Its a great food lubricant. Otherwise, if you BUY a cheap cut, a slowcooker will make it tender. Put it in some bone broth and let it cook low and slow, just like ribs.

I love food, but food in a corporate environment can backfire so muchā¦especially now.
Last summer, I was at Topgolf for some intern networking thingy. Each station was a couple of interns and some Senior Vice President. This VP guy was nice, but urged me to get food like 3 times and I budged.
Perhaps part of that is my fault cause I went bonkers on the tacos and went over the cutting calories.
Do I grow some balls and just not eat the food?
Job with Mechanical Subcontractor starts next Tuesdayā¦ā¦New Hire Lunch⦠it better not be fcking pizza.
As a non-drinker, you can use the same approach I do with alcohol. Iāll get a drink and hold it for the whole event. I donāt drink it, but now I got a drink, so people will stop asking me if I want one, along with why Iām not having one.
Get a plate with some food on it and then just leave it alone/pick at it.
OR find the food that allows you to stay with the plan. If I get pizza, I just eat the top of it: not the bread. For tacos, I eat the meat and thatās it. I was at a Topgolf as well and they did a fajita bar. I had a LOT of fajita meat.
I think itās just standard patterns in all social animals.
We notice when someone deviates from the norm. āEveryoneās drinking, but heās notā. āEveryone is clean shaven but heās notā. Not necessarily that anyone has a problem with it, but weāre wired to notice patterns like that.
We also want to help when we notice a āproblemā, even if that problem is simply āyouāre deviating from the normā. āCan I grab you a drink?ā āI know a great barber, do you want his number?ā
And thereās probably also an desire for the host to, well, be a good host. If it looks like someone might need something, you offer.
But yes I could see how it could be annoying accidentally, and I can also see how someone would be annoying intentionally, because some people think theyāre responsible for ensuring/enforcing the norm.
These are 1 off social situations. People who really know me know I donāt drink, but if I donāt want to take the time to explain that, I just take the drink and not drink it.
@LoRez nailed it. People donāt like to observe differences.
