i’ve never seen a powerlifter who wears titan shoes
(mostly powerlifers also wear adipower or nike romaleos…)

titan shoes have also hills.

I’m pretty sure Malanichev wears them. http://www.allthingsgym.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/andrey-malanichev-440kg-x3-squat.jpg

Ya ive seen malanichev use them and few lifters in the IPF. They seem kinda clunky I feel like there are some better choices out there

$250 for those ugly things? What? If you’re actually looking into getting a shoe with a raised heel I have a pair of SABO PowerLift’s and I love them, and they’re half the price of the Titans.

I have the titan contenders. I like them but I’ve never tired using any lifting shoes other than chucks.

I know the Titans have a smaller heel than most weightlifting shoes. I compete in the usapl and there are always several people with them at meets here. I bought them based on a recommendation from a guy at my gym that has been to the ipf worlds a few times. His are many years old and still going strong. I’ve had mine for 2-3 years any they show no signs of wear so they’re well constructed.

Just my .02

i think dan green wears them. he’s sponsored by titan so it would make sense. looks like something ive seen him wear too

Dan Green wears Olympic lifting shoes. I have the Titan’s and I love them. I had a pair when they were still made by Safe USA, but some jackass stole my gym bag with them in it, so I had to replace them. The Titan shoes are pretty much identical to the Safe USA shoes I had with the exception of the branding. I like them better than chucks for the fact that they have a heel and better than Olympic shoes because the heel is not as high. They are perfect for someone that wants a bit of a heel, but not too much of one. And, they last for a very long time – my old pair were great still and I’d still be using them if they hadn’t been stolen.

If you want wl style shoes with less heel, try bowling shoes - i got some off ebay for 99p and they’re pretty similar except for the heel height and lack of tarsal strap… but they’re made to be graunched tight with the laces anyway so it isn’t a big deal.
