I am going to enter my first meet (bench only or push/pull) in september-nov, and probably do a full meet a couple of months later. I am going to be competing in the USAPL so no double layers or denim are allowed. I am thinking about orderinig the titan fury, because I have heard a lot of good things about it. What are your opinions on the Fury?
My main question is about sizing, on the titan website it asks for the height, weight, chest and flexed arm, but I have read that titan makes them too small and they are almost impossible to get on. I am going with the middle size (meet fit). Another complaint I have read is that titan takes a very long time to ship out their shirts.
As for a belt I was looking at the power belt quality economy by Inzer, because it is in my price range. And for wrist wraps the red devils from titan.Am I forgetting anything? Any advice would be appreciated.
Heard that over at Elite the Westside guys prefer Inzer wraps over Titans.
There was a thread about wrist wraps recently and I was a bit dissapointed to hear someone say that his pair of Titan THP’s stretched out over time, as I own a pair.
It seems that the current Titan sizing is good. Several guys from my gym , myself included, have recently bought titan furys. The back may seem a little big at first but that will allow manipulation of the shirt around the shoulders and chest.
As far as shipping goes, they are slow. It took 4 weeks to get my shirt and I called every week to check on the status.
Overall, it is a good shirt. IMHO, the best poly out there, even better than Metal.
Check out this guy’s website at www.earthquakenutrition.com. He is a retailer for Titan and has excellent customer service. I ordered my shirt from him and got it within a week. I think he usually orders in bulk from Titan and if he has your size he’ll get it to you fast.
