inzer vs. titan

can anyone tell me something about the inzer rage and titan fury. talked to tiny and he says rage is even better than deniem.however he is an inzer rep. also talked to another powerlifter and was told once the titan is on its like a t-shirt, with an awsome spring out of the hole. i cant find anything about the inzer(whats it made of,how its built, ect.)and the titan has this nxg technology with a 90 degree sleeve cut.if anyone can give me any more info that would be great thanks

I just bought a Fury, but havent had a chance to bench in it yet, my first ME day in it will be wensday. You might wanna PM big martin

I have not really heard any thing about the rage…i have 2 furies one lose fit and one comp fit…there a great shirt and they do have tons of pop…the only problem i have had with the fury is that to learn the hsirt you need to train in the shirt but the shirt really stretches out…after about 6-8 workouts in competition fitted fury it becomes a training shirt it becomes completely a 1 size larger shirt…but usually the first 2-3 work outs in a new fury are amzing in fact the 2nd work out i ever used my competitionfit fury i tripled my my previous 1 rep max…right now i want to try a inzer phenom 2 ply open back…i hear they have even more pop than furys and dont stretch plus there more flexibile…the fury is very unflexibile if you miss the groove your done…bm

The Phenom’s a great shirt. Hell, Rychlak benched 900 in one. I’ve got a single-ply open back Phenom that I usually get about 70 pounds out of. The only problem is, every Phenom I’ve ever seen (including mine) has blown out right down the center. A denim patch solved that problem though. As far as getting stretched out goes, I’ve had mine for over a year (and I use it a lot), and it’s just as tight as the day I got it. I’ve never used a Fury, but a friend of mine has one, and he gets about 80 pounds out of it. The big questions are: which organization(s) do you lift in, and what’s your budget? I think the Fury is legal everywhere, but the Phenom may not be, depending on which design you get(for example, my org. no longer allows the open neck). Also the Fury is about half the price of the Phenom. The Inzer Rage is a new one on me.

BM-

I like my Fury a little stretched out. The more I use it, the better it gets. I can get it down on my chest and rig it up like a denim when it is a little bit bigger. It’s at a point now where I don’t even seat the shoulders all the way.

brian…you know any one that has ever opend up (cut the back) a fury???..i am going to open up mine wensday and go for a little ride in it…i think i would maybe like the fury if i can adjust it a little better…bm

atgwestside- hey tell me about how you put a denim patch in your phenom…is this something you think they can do at inzer?..bm

BM

We haven’t opened up a fury yet. One of the guys just opened up his blast 2-ply and it seems to be working just fine. The new fury’s we are working with are cut big enough in the back to where they do not have to be opened.

The Inzer Phenom is much less comfortable and a bigger PITA to get on. However, as Big M alludes to, it is more forgiving than a fury.

We have figured out a way to alter the chest panel on our Fury’s that allows us to tweek them as they stretch. The stretching process does slow down after a while, but we almost always end up taking in the sleeves and chest panel.

I will share that I watched a 98’er at last years Men’s Nats bomb in the bench by blowing out 3 consecutive Phenoms right down the middle of the chest panel. Not a good way to go out.

My understanding of the Rage is that bascially John bought a bunch of Furys’ and blueprinted the design for the Rage. I have not worn one, so can’t comment on the fabric, but if this is true, that will be the biggest determining factor, IMHO.

Martin- I just had to get the rip tacked back together, then I had the patch sewn on over it with about 500 stitches. I think it’s actually made the shirt stronger. I guess Inzer could probably do it, but they didn’t fix mine. I didn’t know until I started asking around about who could fix it, but Anthony Clark’s brother-in-law (and bench shirt tailor) lives about 15 minutes away from me. He’s the one who did it.

thanks…wow the phenom really rip hugh damn that blows…i wonder if inzer will add denim to them during production?..bm

correction. It was a 65’er who bombed.
