Tiny Super Jock

Thanks lula!!

Serious doms today but not too surprising
Thanks for all the esupport people

I will lay out or at least reiterate some goals

And then how to get there should be easier

1 pull 500

2 front squat 315 for a triple

3 have less joint pain as I train

4 find some training economy time spent training is creeping up

5 regardless of body weight creeping up -I want to be a leaner

See not too crazy
I think number two takes care of number one

3 and 4 are kind of linked

The rest need work

Less volume, better exercise choices. Kill 5 birds with one stone.

Awwh gee Tony-

that means all the boring stuff

actually I dont really rotate exercises enough
do the shit I like vs shit that doesnt hurt.

worked til late- had some flue thing keep me up the bulk of the night
not sure If I can train today - but I might hobble over there

a few people have pointed me towards 3 day a week training- doing the whole body
either as Bill Star type thing or 531 total body template thanks James

I might look into that for something simple

ya know, you could do a pl meet deadlift only

Petes is that like a DOF?

Three day per week training is all that I can manage and still recover decently. Since I’ve gone with a 5/3/1 three day format, alternating MP, DL, BP and SQ over the course of more than a week, I’ve felt better rested.

A 500 pull is exciting! I’d love to see that.

Kimba- Ive been doing 4 days a week only for maybe 5 weeks?
work has been slow or relegated to nights so I can do 4.

3 days a week is probably the smart move.
for recovery - right now I am worned out

and yes I want to see a 500lb pull too.
soon soon soon

front squats wanted more happy with this knees and hips a little beatup

db RDL - new favorite thing

some other random thoughts

the track and field kids from the local comunity college where there-
they tore it up but where not thrilled I was 40.

I realize the last several posts might sound like Im some whiny kid-
‘heeeeelp me with my programing’
and hopefully its more like -
help me find an exciting and smart way to train.

thanks for reading

I don’t know if your lasts posts sound whiny but this one sounds drunk… or stoned… or both.

If you can front squat in that state, you have good skills my friend

I was typing that post from my phone

no a bad week - I nee a deload next week

Im feeling the same way…Ive been training 4 times a week for a long time now, and wonder if a 3 days weight training and 2 days conditioning will be more beneficial…

What a cute kid!

PS: I think we all speak Kevin now

Great pic, now tell everyone the truth Kevin, you’re letting BiBJr type your posts!!!

Todd and PG-

I realize when I type on my phone I must sound like a drunkenated janitor
sneaking into the computer room at a HS.

Little man probably can spell better then me

regarding the 3 vs 4 day split, are you regressing or progressing? you are always going to feel beat up, but change it only if the weight ain’t moving

damn Rowan is looking thick, how much he weighing?

3 days a week FTW!

I’ve been training that way for a long long time now. I’ve tried other ways in between.

Three days a week affords me the possibility of a 4th day if I wanted(or a 5th!) It makes me MISS the gym!
And in between days you can do other fun stuff. For me I like to get outside as much as possible.
