Tiny Calves

By the way how much have your calves grown over the last 2 years?[/quote]

In two years about an inch and a half. They are a little over 15 and I’m 5’09. But my arms and neck are over an inch bigger so I’ve got a lot more work to do. They are the most stubborn part of my development. There’s a blurry pic in my profile. At least they show up now.
Why would you only work them when you aren’t cutting?

I don’t mean I’ll only work them when gaining, I mean I wont work them as hard. Right now I’m doing 4x20 with seated calf raises which are extremely hard but still it’s only 4 sets a week

which I’m doing to maintain size and maybe grow slightly if I’m progressing well but I know I won’t put a ton of size on while cutting so once I start gaining I’m going to do way more for them and hopefully the shock and extra work will get them to grow.

It sucks cause my mom, dad, and brother all have good calves and good metabolisms. I’m the one who got a slow metabolism and chicken legs :frowning: lol

by the way bagger I just saw the pic and from that angle they don’t look too bad. Definitely bigger than mine seemed when mine were the same size but then again I have long legs and am a little taller than 6ft

You may be one of the lucky ones who doesn’t need to work super hard to get them to grow. My entire family gots the chicken leg. Good thing my own kids took after their Mama. I could swear my body prefers burning calf muscle for fuel rather than fat.

haha nah I wish. you’d think since I was fat I could put on muscle easily and calves wouldn’t be a problem…sadly that’s not the case at all.
