Tingly Nipples... WTF???

so this morning at the gym i noticed a phenomenon i have never experienced before.

after completing my leg and back routine, my nipples felt really weird. they were tingly and very sensitive to my shirt rubbing on them.

this lasted for about 20 minutes, and then through out the next four or five hours they would get sensitive for a few minutes and quit.

it was really strange. what would cause that and should i be concerned about anything?

i don’t use roids, or many supplements. i take ON gold standard whey after excercising and just eat for the most part. i do take some fish oil caps and saw palmetto. (i heard it reduces conversions of free test to dht, thus increasing muscle gains and possibly decreasing a potential for hair loss)

why were my nipples tingly and what does it mean for my health?

Just what kinda back exercies were you doing man, bearbacking?

Jesus dude. Are you serious?

Oh shit! you’re going to die!

not really. but maybe…

The extra blood movement through your body might have made your nipples extra sensitive. It could have also been the label on your shirt or the material it was made of or the soap you wash it in.

that, or you might be gay.

“If you think you’re gay… then you are!”

But that’s cool dude. Just like prison, and those guys are bad dudes.

Obvious case of too much Lifetime and Dr. Phil.

you can all keep your day jobs.

any real ideas?

Real Ideas Eh??? It could happen…

Actually, it’s not at all impossible that this is hormonal. I often get acne breakouts after heavy workout phases. You probably don’t have to worry about true gyno unless you’re very, very susceptible and you keep stimulating excessive hormonal release.

I would monitor the effect when you do heavy workouts. If the condition persists try supplementing with an anti-E. Nolvadex & company are most likely overkill but Rev-Z would help and it has other benefits as well.

Not sure… but I used to run in marathons and I specifically remember that every year I did it my nipples hurt like a BITCH about halfway through and then for about a day afterward. It was because of the metal pins which you use to put your number of your shirt. Just touching them, that’s all, and it made them EXTREMELY sensitive.

maybe it’s karma after your “colorful” comment on women stank

i wouldn’t say the comment was out of line with the topic of the thread.
