Curious about your opinion on the timing effects on muscle activation after neuro training. Is there a protocol that is more effective than the others? For example, is the one of these that you would recommend over the other.
Neuro training one day then a heavy day the next.
Neuro training in the AM and heavy day in the PM.
Neuro exercise then heavy lift exercise as in the 1A and 1B.
I use the first and second approaches. The third one is not neural charge training. It’s a form of complex (Russian complex) that works,but it will not “recharge” the CNS. I use Russian complexes from time to time with athletes but not so much to potentiate performance but to train speed and power in the same workoiut when an athlete has a limit time to train.
Like the second approach when the athlete is fatigued but must lift heavy. And I like the first one when the athlete is fresh and wants to maximize performance.
