Squats felt good. The weight is still sad, but the depth felt good.
Good work outs. How much you figure the green bands help on the pullups? I’ve been hittin the squats hard so my legs will look better than last year.
HEL, the bands help a lot. I have moved from green to blue. I’m hoping to get two months with it, then doin g them on my own.

Back home. Been here for about 10 days now. I spent a day and 3/4’s in Dubai and moved my reservations up. Haven’t lifted yet, but I have done a couple of bell workouts. And today was my first time back doing martial arts. Class today was just, basic punches, kicks and combinations. I did better than I thougt I would and felt better than I thought I would. I’ll be keeping it going the rest of the time I’m here and in town. I wil get in a couple of lifting days sooner or later.

Thanks for the welcomes back. I haven’t been lifting too much. I got into 24hr and did some squats, benches, rows and pullups. It wasn’t pretty, but not bad. I will lift again next week. I have hit the KB a couple of times and done some kickboxing workouts. It kinda sucks to see where I am now as where I was. Not that was great or anything like that, but I was better than this. I’s more my positioning and foot work. It would take a few months to get back. But my conditioning isn’t too bad.
As far as what I missed I think maybe a queen sized bed. I like being back on my bike and being able to drink beer when I want, but I think the bed might do it. I have about 10 days left then its back over. It’s been fun and I will miss it, but not so much that I want to stay. The baseball games have been fun too.
Well the beer dinking, baseball games, and motorcycle riding are over. Back here in Afghanistan. Back to my twin sized bed, heat, wind, and dust. And I have been to the gym a couple of times, but nothing spectacular to report. Just getting back into the swing of things, slowly. It’s ugly and will take a bit for things to get back to where they were. But, the will and I will improve on those.

I’m back to benching more than I can squat. Hope to get that changed around in the next few months on this. I started light on things to build into it again since I had a while of not doing shit. At least not in the gym.

I’m right there with you benching more than I squat. I guess it gives me something to work for. Seems all my life its been 2 steps forward and 1 1/2 backwards. You’ll be squatting big again soon.
I hope so Wilson. After a day of really not wanting to be in the gym, it seems like a long road. Good thing it was a light day.
