Went with I’m not doing jack shit for assistance work. Just wasnt motivated enough. I am going to readjust my MP max. My shoulders dont have a problem with it, but my lower back seems to. So I will try to build that up with a reset max.
Insanity Day 13. I seem to be gaining some weight but I dont think its fat, so I dont mind. Deadlift and squat max week.

Worst training to date. Couldn’t hit my max fronm last cycle. Wouldnt budge off the floor. As I was driving home I thought maybe because I tried for a 50lb jump on my max. Maybe I should have tried for a 30lb jump and then gone from there. Or maybe its time to reset my max. Hopefully not yet. I’ll just put it to a bad day and give it another 4 weeks and see what happens.
Inasnity day 14.

UN-50 is an agressive jump up brother, but I am guessing you will pull that next cycle…and MP’s are a tempramental as my daughter…I just reset mine and am feeling much better about it. Way to keep banging away at the INSANITY!

Don’t get down about the drop in your deadlift max. Its gonna happen when you’re shedding bodyweight and doing heavy cardio. It’ll all come back when you get to the BW you want and cut back on the cardio.

I hope everything works out with the new job. It should be quite and experience.

You probably got a lot on your mind distracting your concentration right now. Bound to have some affect on your lifting.

Some days gravity is much stronger in the gym than other days.

I keep looking for that grav-o-mometer so I know when its a good day to lift.

Thanks guys. Maybe I am more distracted than I thought about my my move and new job. ECO, I am doing a bunch of cardio, and my body is changing some, but i havent lost a lot of weight, I guess I have chewed through some fat. Do you thiink its the cardio that caused it to drop and not the body weight? Now you have me curious. And OG, I dont know if I keep banging away at Insanity or it keep banging away at me.

a PR is a PR! put 'em up there and be proud you are pushing you own personal envelope. you gotta video the squats or get a good training buddy to call depth.

Great work UN. When the PR’s are running, don’t start mess’in around changing your bait. Just get the line back in the water as soon as you’re ready and haul up another one.

Took halftime and some of the 3rd quarter to get in Insanity Day 18. Skipped yesterday for rest and did it today. Didnt do too bad, still more rest than I want, but its moving along. Cowboys dont’ play till tonight and the Texans are running away from the Colts. Not that I’m a Texans fan, but they are on. Might head out for a beer for the Eagles and the Packers. And hopefully the Rangers can sweep the Yankees. Even though they will prolly meet in the playoffs, and they haven’t dont well against the AL East, especially on the road, all the confidence they can get will help.

Insanity Day 19. One more week, then Insanity deload and then new exercises for the next month. Which will be nice. I’m getting tired of getting my ass kicked by the same routines, I want my ass kicked by some new routines.

Thanks OG, I think it is. I’m also thinking I might have to reset my dead and possibly my squat coming up here pretty quick. I have one, maybe 2 more cycles left before I leave so I will see what happens.

Skipped my BBB trap bar deads. I didnt eat before I went to the gym and it showed up. I guess I learned my lesson on that one. With 31 days left till deployment I need to find some bands that I can use to chins and pullups. Preferably a set so I can get lighter as I get better at it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I looked at EFS and didnt see anything as a set, I guess I will have to buy individually.

Yeah, those bands are awesome for chins since you still have to stabilize your core rather than having a machine do all the work for you.
