Thyroid, please help

Does my results mean that I have subclinical hypothyroidism and possible hashimoto’s disease because of some antibodies found? Can this be the cause of my very low testosterone?

Test can elevate your TSH levels, but because you have elevated Thyroglobulin antibodies and thyroid peroxidase antibodies, you probably have Hoshimotos.

Find the best endocrinologist you can afford, my wife has Hoshi’s and we have learned that Armor (mix of T3 and T4) seems to be the best thyroid hormone for her. A low inflammation diet (gluten free, low carb, high fat) really helps keep things from escalating. She takes AG1 (it has most of the vitamins she needs in a drink instead of a bunch of pill) and adds slippery elm bark, glutathione, D3 +k, and L-Lysine, if you don’t want to do the AG1 find a good methylated multivitamin.

No. Wait 3 months and have a new thyroidpanel. It’s easy to draw conclusions that may be premature in regards of the thyroid. But, obviously it’s been sanctioned by the fitness community to also “supplement” with thyroid hormones. Labs need to be assessed with the greater picture in mind.

Beware of easy, simplified solutions.

You do not have Hashimoto’s, antibodies are normal. It’s normal to have some antibodies present. The immune system in your body makes these antibodies.

I do as well, with a 0.45 TSH.

As stated before, the high cortisol, the stress hormone, is causing your symptoms and is likely lowering your testosterone.

You have to address what’s causing your elevated cortisol.

Maybe a tumor on the adrenal glands.

I am not a doc, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. My suggestion would be to find an endocrinologist and have him/her work with you.
