Thank you guys. My forearmes and hams ache today. Bench tonight. Think I over estimated my max bench. I don’t think I can bench 90%x3.
I’ve been enjoying lifting these past couple months more then ever before. I think training for a meet has given a purpose for training.

bench 330x3,350x3,370x1.5
bench 205 5 sets 10 reps
1 arm db row 5 sets 10-12 reps
ez bar curl 5 sets 3 reps
disappointed about my bench. 350x3 was easy, thought i would get 370x2
I 'spect that 370 for 3 will come next session. Damn strong work eco
Real good benching. Do you drop down and do reps or was the second bench set Inclines?

Keep hammering away!! Awesome.
Niiiice eco! Congrats on that PR buddy.
Happy 39th Birthday, we’ll welcome you to the masters club next year. ![]()
Thanks guys.
Hel,I’m following one of Jim Wendlers programs. The second round of bench is 50% max,5 sets, 10 reps. Now I think about it I don’t know why I have them listed seperate.

Awwww… only got 370 for 1 1/2, and 350 for 3 easy… my heart bleeds for ya, now… bite me! lol!
I have a hell of a long way to go to catch you big guy… unless you decide to start running marathons or something…
Nice lifting bro’!
I hope you have someone spotting you on those 1.5 reps…
Thanks Bunny. No worries about me running marathons.
I got trapped under a bar while benching to many times in my younger days. Now I have safety equipment for bench and squat(bench stands and squat rack).
Eco, looks like the Wendler program is working wonders for you. I also really like your approach with the eating. Eat as healthy as possible but don’t get overly critical. This seems to me to be a very good balance point which is especially important for long-term success.
Nice PR on the deadlift a few days back and happy belated Birthday!!
That bench looks real strong, Eco. Do you find those one-arm DB rows specially important? I have never done them.
Thank you Mday and Geech.
Mday, glad to see you’re back and healthy.
Geech, the program called for a rowing motion assistance exercise. I could have picked one of several. Just hadn’t done db rows for a long time. I get a great pump and my bis hurt as well. I may switch to BB rows next time.
Bigjames has the strong bench. That dude is a monster.

squat 375x3,400x3,430x3
1/4 squat 550x3
chin up BW 5 sets 11,3,3,3,3
squat 50% max 240 10,10,5
leg curl 75 10,10,10
My low back was killing me. I cut the 50% squats and leg curls both 2 sets short. I think I’m getting low enough. I want to do a walkout next time with 600. Seems to help skid, Mday and Steely D. How long do you hold it- 15 or 20 seconds.
I try for 20 seconds.
I like walkouts too!Setting the bar up and getting in position to execute the lift is a awesome way to feel the weight.
great log, i am have been following with much interest. as everyone knows, i have a huge man-crush on the Wendler.
that is all, carry on.
That’s some huge weight eco. Great work!
You throw some serious numbers around. That’s awesome work. You take care of that back. Hate to see you side lined.
Mate, you continue to throw some serious weight around! Props to you. Is great reading your log, makes me want to try and catch up. Look after that back!
