Skid, you know I don’t do any exercises with fancy names like pendlay or zercher. Mine are easy:squat, bench, etc. like a caveman or a red neck.[/quote]
I think he makes most of these names up!
You are looking strong, Eco. You might need to check your foot angle when widening your squat stance; I know I did even with my puny weights.
thanks geech.
I took my stance in quite a bit. felt much better but my inner knees still hurt with full squats. I think I got plenty low enough with the narrow stance.
On a side note I’ll be 39 for the first time this Sunday. One more year and I can compete in the masters. I think this calls for copious beer drinking.

I was just reading Colins thread about 500 lb bench or cut up. I’ve kinda picked in between. Eating well and not drink to many beers and let the body weight fall where it may.
I’m still 254 lbs…I won’t be making the 242 class like I wanted. I tried to be real strict recently and felt tired and was grumpy. I just don’t eat the junk like I was.
Eat healthy and let the chips, as it were, fall where they may, Eco – sounds reasonable to me, especially wth the way you are moving the weights these days.
