Thoughts On Lifting Gloves

I have no idea what I was smoking when I made that glove comment. I retract that.

As far as the deadlifting goes, I stand by many of us not being able to DL 800… maybe I’m just blinkered?[/quote]

Ahh…so that’s what the period was for! Duh. My bad. Try reading it without the pause and see why I screwed the pooch there.

LOL! I’m not the best at forming my sentances, dont sweat it. The glove thing was just retarded though… I dont even remember meaning to write that :s

Guess we are pretty much at the “half for, half against” wearing gloves point now…

Me myself I lift raw… used to use chalk, rosin bags that pitchers use, etc. Ditched the gloves early on since they were too thick and killed the feel.

Nowadays I just use cut up sections of those anti slip grip things for tables and countertops from the dollar store… awesome in helping grip while keeping it relatively natural. not as thick as padding or gloves but keeps the friction up for grip. You guys should try it and it is a cost effective solution as you can buy a whole roll for like $2 and it will last for months.

As for Ericka… all I can say lady is WOW…

gloves are for big pussies, use chalk or dont, but sotp bein a girl either way
