No disrespect to your little brother, Adrenolin, but there’s no comparison to him and that 17 yr old bodybuilder. Your brother has very little muscle mass.
I think it is actually a great comparison. Many of these guys would actually consider his little brother “ripped” and muscular when the truth is he’s an average kid who isn’t fat. [/quote]
Ripped, yeah. Muscle? No.
The OP vid shows a small kid, but obviously a bodybuilder, while Adrenolin’s little brother doesn’t look like a bodybuilder… just an average lean kid.
Side note: Apparently the vid kid weighs 152 contest shape - down from a 180 bulk.

I didn’t say that I thought he was muscular. I said that is what these newbies think. Remember, these are the same guys who think Shugart has some size on him. For many of these people, if all they see is abs, they think that means “built”.
This site now caters to a crowd that isn’t exactly very serious. That is why they are more concerned with how many days they DON’T train in a week.
Kid doesn’t look bad. He’s got what it takes to go the distance.
While I certainly won’t give props to young kids for just being not fat, I will point out that a lot of the top natty BBers compete around 160-170 lbs. Of course there is a huge difference in overall muscle mass.

Unfortunately it is literally impossible for me to be impressed by natty BBers. Except you of course stu ![]()
not a bash on you at all, but I completely dwarf every “natural” lifter in my gym and I’ve only used AAS once. These guys look good on stage, but in person it’s like nothing.
I watched a video of pro’s Layne Norton and some guy Nick Kirchialis or something last night, and they were looked tiny next to other people, even in the off season.
I will say though that Layne is my favorite natural pro, he’s a strong mofo.

Holy crap. You’ve also gotta love the comments though. My favorite was “he won’t grow any taller than that”

…the thing is, he DIDN’T grow much more than that. That kid is short as hell and very average looking right now.

Name is Richard Sandrak…here is a vid with updated pics:
Depending on your point of view, Richard Sandrak’s dad was a total fruitcake. He started training his son with weights at six months old.
He fed his son with a ‘secret formula’, which many people believed to have contained steroids (this was unsubstantiated), and kept him on a super strict diet since before he could walk. The kid was forbidden to have any friends, and hadn’t tasted junk food until the age of 13, when his father was jailed (the sentence was not related to the training of his son, BTW).
That’s when Sandrak was able to start living a normal life, and allowed to become ‘out of shape’. Up until then, he had little choice in the matter.

On a more serious note I’d say the nattys here in T-Nation could dwarf MOST of the nattys because having to diet down various times a year for photoshoots and competitions. I am in my second year of my training and I am a lot bigger than all teenage bodybuilders I’ve ever seen and thats because I put my efforts in building a lot of muscle fast. Professor X is probably the most jacked natural bodybuilder (correct me if im wrong, but i recall that you’ve commented on this), as he said, he put decades into building tons of muscle, which is ESSENTIAL for most people trying to get REALLLLYYY BIG.
Lol.

I just joined in on this lolfest and don’t know what you guys are talking about, but I don’t give a shit what any announcer says. No six-year-old benches 180lbs.
A guy who trains at my gym is 17 at 6’1" 250lbs, lean. That’s impressive, this is not.
