That’s from Terry Pratchett’s book, Good Omens. Well, Neil Gaiman co-wrote it but I think that line is Pratchett’s.

On a random note, it only takes as much bite force to bite off a finger as it does to bite through a carrot. You can’t do it to yourself because your brain wont let you.
