I haven’t been to the Pgh. Zoo in decades, but I remember thinking that the tiger there needed fed and exercise, so not the greatest experience.
The Memphis zoo is really nice funny enough.
Maybe because the city is also a zoo.
Have not been to the PGH zoo since the 70s…went to the Columbus zoo in 2019, great zoo
You ever been to graceland or beale street?
couldn’t agree more
really? apparently they were starving the pandas
Both many times.
I saw the Pandas with my own eyes at least 4 times. They didn’t look to be starving to me and had tons of food. They were eating every time I saw them.
Yep…me too
I only wish i saw Elvis and BB King live in concert
Same for BB king. We visited Memphis on the way back to Florida a few years ago and toured around. Good BBQ and music, but much of the town did not look good.
Also - the giant Bass Pro pyramid.
Memphis is a backwater cesspool, held up by FedEx and St. Jude
Anna what cities in US are good?
Of the cities I can credibly talk about: Boston, NYC, Charlotte, St. Pete/Tampa
Don’t forget Pissburgh! Best weather this side of middle earth!
I actually like pissburgh, but I can’t really give a credible assessment considering that my opinion of it heavily biased by my (positive) experience going to school there.
I didn’t leave campus much
The weather…
There are entire facebook pages dedicated to the city steps.
If you like death marches, its basically heaven.
When I lived in PA for a couple years I learned that they have towns that make me chuckle.
Intercourse
Blue Ball
Beaver
Lititz
Climax
Rough and Ready
There’s also Centralia, known for its hospitality, rich history and boasting one of the country’s largest continuously burning underground coal fires.
NYC…now that’s hilarious
Peachbottom
A lion walked into a bar and said, “I’ll have a rum . . . and Coke.”
The bartender said, “What’s with the pause?”
The lion said, “I don’t know. I was born with them.”
And these have nice weather? lol
It sounds like you like vacationing, and have happened to do so at the right time of year in the listed cities.
@SkyzykS do locals call Pittsburg Pissburgh? Or is that a college thing? And if the latter, do you not find it offensive?
Its just a Me & Anna thing. I don’t find it offensive, mainly because it arose out of her distaste for the local weather, which can be kinda miserable at times.
Now if a Ravens fan said such a thing, on a Sunday afternoon at Heinz field?
Eh. I wouldn’t guarantee his/their safety.
