I donāt feel strongly enough to ever say anything about the post. I may even have commented on it - who TF wears a onesie outside to clear their car? But I admire bravery, and for someone Annaās age, thatās going against the crowd. And I know how much this particular crowd means to her.
But I suppose it is kind of schoolmarm-y of me to āgood job!ā someone for taking an uncomfortable position, so okay, schoolmarm designation accepted.
I literally havenāt even seen the post in question since it was taken down before I saw it. I just think there are enough places in the world where speech is regulated and curated. I really like that T-nation doesnāt moderate much at all (other than some things that are direct financial issues such as competitor advertisements).
There are absolutely outrageous and offensive things said on T-nation everyday. We donāt need somebodyās subjective morality on what is pushing the line too far. Free speech only makes sense if we are protecting offensive speech.
Of course, there is something to be said that Chicken Little pulled it down himself after Anna objected and thatās quite different than it being taken down by force. But all the same, this is a comedy thread and that is the last place where we need moderation.
