This actually turned up at nr 85 in a listing of the best clips ever on Youtube. New to me, though feeling a bit guilty for laughing at and old man. But as I came to realize, he regularly published funny clips of himself.

Does this actually work? Iām not a tax accountant, but I would assume that the millionaire has to report the nearly $20M gain that he achieved by commissioning the art. Wouldnāt that count as income? Had he sold the painting, the proceeds would definitely be taxable. By donating it, he avoids the tax on the proceeds of selling the painting, but he canāt double count that donation against other profits/income that he had for the year.
Once again, not an accountant or lawyer, but this seems far too simple for it to actually work.
