I think the more site rotation the better…provided you stick to the better sites. I inject twice a week as well (TRT) and I still use four sites…both vastus lateralis, and both delts. So each site is only hit once every other week…and I hit different spots within each site, too. I used to hit the glutes but I find it’s just too much hassle to do it myself, and I don’t want to ask others. Vastus and delts are easy, safe, painless. There are lots of other sites, but many of them are more dense with major vessels/lymph system/ nerves. All of which are unpleasant if hit.
OP, using insulin pins to push T sub-cutaneously (and other drugs) is pretty we-established and becoming very popular as the knowledge gets out there. I actually do “shallow IM” injections into the vastus and delts with slin pins…it hasn’t affected my levels one bit. Just get it into your soft tissue, it will end up in your blood. I think docs will tell you “you have to do it deep IM” simply because that’s the way it’s always been done…doesn’t make it true. There was a Canadian study done (don’t have the citation) that proved Sub-Q injections are just as effective, if not better, at maintaining stable levels when compared to IM. Yes, they take longer to load because of the viscosity of the solution…but it’s really not an undue hassle. It takes me about a minute to load .5cc of T-Cyp through a 28GA needle. It’s actually easier to inject than using a 3cc syringe/25ga needle, believe it or not. Try it out…no reason to use bigger needles than you have to. Slin pins are the way to go.[/quote]

Yes. And my point is that using each site less often is better.
It comes down to this. Its a lot easier to err on the side of caution than to deal with a sterile abscess. Regardless of how unlikely it may sound from using only .5ml of oil once/wk. Trust me on this.

Bonez is right and everyone who disagrees with him on this is wrong.
I am also new to taking T and I am experiencing the same problem, however for a longer duration. My legs actually get so tight that it becomes harder to walk. I can withstand a lot and I’m no pussy, but this doesn’t seem right. I talked to many of my buddies who do this, and I have combed through forums for about 2 months before I finally just now started on the 1st. I use 1cc insulin needles 29 gauge, I’m in the rite site and I did one injection in each leg since the 1st. I sterilize the site each time before. The program I had talked about with my buddy consists of 1cc of T every other day, I thought for a beginner that was too much. So I planned on doing 1cc a week till my body was used to it.
He also gave me 2 other things to use; called “Tren” and “400” which I have not used nor will I because he lacked sufficient information about either one… I don’t want a plan that works best for someone else, I want a plan that works best for me. Some of you are considered very knowledgeable in this field, even experts possibly. Your guidance would be much appreciated and your opinions respected.
Mine still get sore too. However what concerns me is what kind of t you are using. There are multiple kinds. The Tren and the 400 are both types of t as well. The tren is for alot of things including leaning and fatburning as well as building. Look it up, Trenabolan. The 400 is commonly called T400 which is a form of t that includes 4 different stands, 100 of each making it t400. BUt what is the T you are taking now?
Also, I pin with a .25 guage pin. 1" long. it seems to work best for me…you could be different. Also verify weather it is clean test and human grade?? All important things if you are a beginner. Continue to research before going much further but im sure the pain you are experiencing is just the build up of fluid in the muscle which it is not used to having. Good Luck and … Be careful.
