heh, 10 min ago eh? who found out first, us or the rest of your family?? lol
just had my second, what a great time. First few weeks you’ll be lost as to where the “dad” fits in, all that is really needed is mom and her milk. But once they start to interact your whole world will change.
Something I wish I was told at the start:
there is no such thing as the perfect birth. mom will have something or baby. I don’t mean major, but at the time it feels like it. For example, mom will gain to little or too much, mom will get pains that floor her, baby will loose too much weight in the first days and they’ll keep you at the hospital for an extra day, breast feeding will be slow/painful, the milk won’t come in fast enough (you’ll learn what all that means 
).
Sure, some births are textbook, but the vast majority have a minor inconvenience that actually means nothing at all, but will be a major stress at the time because you don’t know what it means.
Think you do a lot of research now?? HA!! wait 'till your kid has it’s first odd rash or fever you’ll read everything there is to read on the topics

like another individual mentioned, I too like to silently observe and take what I can from this site. you coach, give an unconditional amount of effort and share an endless amount of knowledge with us so we may learn and grow and be equally passionate about this way of life that you have and continue to conquer. you are far above deserving of such a day. congratulations.
