Now that the introductions are out of the way I am pleased to announce that I became a dad on Tuesday night! It has been a very crazy week as he arrived two weeks early and threw all our plans into disarray but I couldn’t be happier.
Mum & baby come home tomorrow and the great adventure of parenthood begins!
Dude, it doesn’t look like he’s even been training one full week yet. Why the hell would a newbie (to damn near everything) post pictures on this site before actually building some muscle mass?
I mean, the ONLY thing going for him is the regular milk intake. Look, if he isn’t willing the put the time in, maybe he should just read for a while before posting.
Congratulations! He’s a handsome boy.
And welcome to the wonderful world of parenthood, where your plans will be in constant disarray. Get used to being on the fly and winging it!

I’ve been discussing his training and nutrition with him, he has promised to clean up his act and start lifting weights.

Thankyou! And yes you are correct about the plans being thrown into disarray. At our weekly visit to the obstetrician we found out my wife had to be induced that night and we only had 4 hours to get ready! Things took a long time to get moving and he was finally born the next evening, although the real labour only took about 5 hours out of that time.

The more important question is why didn’t he post his pic on the rate me forum since every newbie is doing?
CONGRATS! Looks like he’s staring you down already. He’ll have great focus in the gym.
Just keep telling yourself that it’s going to get a lot better after 3-4 months (not that the first 3 are bad or anything, just a little more tiring).
I think they start doing more interesting stuff after the 3-4 month mark. Either way, you only get very few experiences like that in your lifetime, sometimes only once.

Prof X, as you can see from this photo he is thoughtfully considering your advice…
