VAN HALEN with DAVID LEE ROTH, that is! Their tour just started last week and the reviews say that they’re fucking STELLAR on this tour, a must-see!!! (I’m seeing them on Nov. 3rd in East Rutherford. Got floor seats).
I´m really happy about this,David Lee Roth is the one and only singer for Van Halen.
I hope they come to europe as well, i seriously doubt that they will since last time there were hardly any people to watch them.
But they should realize it was mostly because of that crappy Extreme singer, i did`nt want to see them, felt like a blasphemy.
I went to their last tour with Sammy Hagar. I’m not a big fan of Sammy, but I figured it was the last time to watch Van Halen perform. The show I went to only sold about 5000 seats, and I think the rest of the tour was like that as well. I’m really happy to see DLR back on stage, and the venues are selling out every day. DLR is the ultimate front man.
I saw the 2004 tour with Sammy too. Edward was a MESS (drunk as a skunk) that tour, and his playing showed it. A sober Eddie vs. a drunken Eddie is night and day. He’s sober and focused on this tour and you can tell from the videos his playing this time around is out-fucking-RAGEOUS.
I also saw them in '98 when Gary was singing and, though the singer wasn’t a “fit,” Ed was also sober on that tour and he was just unreal.
I can’t wait to see them this time around.

I haven’t responded because I’m pissed that they are not coming anywhere close to me. Fuckers. Fine, don’t come get my ticket, t-shirts, and memorabilia money.
I’m pretty sure they’re going to be adding more tour dates as time goes on. They’ve already added more than they originally had.

I did get to see them back in '95. They kicked WAY more ass than I expected them too.
Collective Soul opened for them, and I mention that because they were WAY better than I though they would be. I wasn’t expecting much from them, but they did a good show and the whole crowd really pumped for VH.

They better, damnit. There are tons of true VH fans down here that will shit themselves to see them again.
