Well, I think I squatted with a belt once or twice years ago, didn’t like it and haven’t done it since. I was basically just putting my hand up as someone who squats heavy without a belt. Maybe it’s one of those things where it would be beneficial once I got past the uncomfortable stage, but it’s not really something I’m going to pursue at the moment.

Well, I already got my certificate, so I don’t really have a teacher anymore, heh.
BUT, back in school we went to TONS of Deaf events and volunteer thingies. I usually got so nervous beforehand my stomach would just be in knots. I also typcially just followed my classmates around and tried to look busy because I was too scared to socialize with anyone. I’m gonna take a wild guess that is the reason why I was the only one in the class that never really made any Deaf friends :-(.
I did really well on all the other assignments though! I was also way better visually than I was at signing. I could always understand what was being said to me, but sucked at saying anything back.
I had a tutor for a while too, she was like a second mommy to me, ha-ha.
