you are doing some great work in here. I’m not sure I could stick with it through an injury like you have.
Thanks folks!
Very warm and muggy for Michigan in September.
Tire sled drag
3/4 mile drag W/ 35lb plate inside
much more speed and vigor than yesterday
3 - 100 step sets of “Cindy farmers”
4 - 100 step sets W/80lb stone
3 sets of 12 shrugs W/ cinder blocks
That’s a great pick. Nice work.

ditto… lookin’ good brother… those look like fun
Cinderblock farmers…awesome. Thats a great idea, and looks like super fun.

Some impressive looking shoulders in that picture.
Thanks folks…and for the record, lashing two of those suckers together was my wife’s idea…
Town’s too busy to get the bike out this morning, so I took the tire out to the ball fields.
1 mile drag W/35 plate. Very little sand and gravel on the jogging trail to reduce the friction of the tire on the pavement, really good drag this morning.
Bunny your Avatar is just disturbing … lmao
Good solid work. Keep doin those walks in the front yard and the neighbors are gonna be asking you for all kinds of help.
Great looking stuff DZ, I get a new idea almost every time I stop in.

The guy next door has asked for help moving a big potted tree back inside.
Thanks Joe.
I think I may be becoming addicted to the tire sled, it kicks my ass every time. Lungs want to explode, gut wants to puke, and quads and glutes, and traps screaming for mercy. Fun stuff!
Anyway today Tire Sled
3/4 mile or so W/35lb
Deads
1x8x135
1x6x185
1x5x225
1x4x275
3x3x315
Bent over rows
1x5x135
1x5x155
1x5x175
That kinda hurt a little…think I’m done.
you gotta watch that stuff with shoulder involvement DZ. last thing you want is to see the doc again

I have to take it easy with these too. Really slow and controlled. Light weight. Otherwise it doesn’t feel so good.
Did you do the sled before the deads? Because if you did you have GIANT stones. Just sayin…
dragging the tire is addictive. do you have any training goals other then rehab right now?
Yea, I think I’ll stick to the lighter weight,135, for the rows for now. Thanks Joe, I have been doing the dragging first, except maybe warming up first with a set of farmers or stones. I’m getting kind of interested in seeing how far this dragging will take me.
I’ll work in everything else around dragging three times a week maybe more. There was a great article about dragging here a while back I wanna go back and look at to get some more ideas. No clear goals right now except getting strong again, and I’d like to focus on getting in some really good conditioning. A lot of what I’m doing I think is helping me with both.
Dragging again today
3/4 mile or so 35lb plate inside
3 sets 100 steps Cinder block farmers
2 sets 30 steps with new bigger stone, call it around 150lb? I’ll get around to weighing it soon.
MZ made smoked BBQ brisket tonight, can’t wait!
I guess it doesn’t really look that much bigger, but it’s definitely heavier than the 120.
The 80 and 150 are a cool pink granite, the 120 is something else.

A few weeks ago I couldn’t pick this thing up. Today 2-30 step sets.
