The Year of Gains

Man, you realllly need to work on your upper and lower back. You should train back 2x a week just until it gets going, maybes once on monday, and once on thursday or friday.

All you need to do is row and lat pulls, and lots of em.

thanks for the help man. I actually 1 month ago started doing this. I hit my back every Sunday and Wednesday. Its fucking annoying. LIke I’m pulling 405 on deads, machine rowing 190 for reps of 6 and lat pulling with good form 180-190 for reps too.

Oh, and I can do a descent amount of wide grip pull-ups. Also hitting bent over bar rows with a max of 1 45 plate on each side with a 25lb. plate. It’s not like i can’t lift weight or am not training it at all. It’s just not showing. I’m keeping at it though. just fucking frustrating that’s all

you have one row, “machine row”. maybe you could switch that with barbell rows or something more likely to help work on your upper back. also you dont have anything hitting your traps. i think you need to find more room to work on your back, just my 2 cents

I second this. And while your at it, you could do chins instead of curls. And some face pulls. [/quote]

chins instead of curls…wtf?

definately looks like you filled out a bit since last time you posted.

thanks man! Much appreciated. I’m really glad I created this whole thread, even though at the time I didn’t have much of a physique, nor do I have a fantastic one right now either. But, the progress is being recorded and this is a life long adventure that I’ll continually log on this site. this is year 2 of hopefully very many years of growth. it cracks me up to look back at the first page of this post and see how little I was almost 2 summers ago. haha!
