Now I am a 17 year old, pretty much looking to build muscle and trim up around the edges, no love handles and no little skin around my belly. question is, is this weight traning alright for me? also how many calories should i be consuming a day? thanks

Lovinthebeach, what I may suggest is at each new workout to rotate exercises. The idea is that you are always stronger while you perform your 1st exercise. For example 1st week, day1:
1st - Pullups/Chins, 2nd Barbell row.
2nd week, day1: 1st - Barbell row, 2nd - Pullups, Chins. For the pushing day: bench press-military press then vice-versa. For leg days instead keep always Squat and Deadlift as 1st exercises. You may try this training program for 2-3 months then switch to ABBH where you superset horizontal pushing/pulling one day and vertical pushing/pulling another day.

Lovinthebeach, you asked if this weightlifting is ok for you. Answer: no, it will doom you to live in interesting times. If you do it hard and heavy, it will cause large lumps to grow, all over your carcass! If you keep on doing it for life, as a matter of pride, you will become abnormal: a hardass man of strength and courage, in a world of weak and cowardly limpdicks. It may even raise your confidence to the point where you decide to succeed in other aspects of your life, causing resentment among some of your fellow men who lack ambition! (Hey! You wanna grow up to be a troublemaker!?!)
Welcome to a whole new world!
