But, this IS a lifting board, right? And I can say with 100% certainty that I can outlift you in any lift, any day, in street clothes.

Didn’t you recently say in a previous thread that, because of injuries, you can’t bench press 315 lbs.? Yes, you did: I probably cannot bench press 315 right now. That’s an exaggeration: I KNOW I can’t. Mainly because I’ve got tendonitis in my elbow and can only do DB work (seems to not bother it).

There’s no shame in having injuries and not being able to do certain lifts. But there is shame in being full of shit.

If you’re going to create an online persona at least keep it consistent. [/quote]

Please remove X’s dick from your mouth. Give me a cortisone shot and 8 weeks, champ. Nice research, though. You must have as much of a real life as the Prof, right? How about I spot the Prof 200 pounds on the bench. Then see if I do not out total him on snach, CJ, squat, dead.

Third, you don’t know shit about anyone on this board. We don’t know shit about you. You don’t know our names. We don’t know yours.

Why do I have this feeling that this entire thread is really, really… odd.

DS has a point - likely for most this forum is a break from boredom. X likes to stir the pot. (It is interesting how addictive this site can be, because I know I shouldnt be contributing to this, but I am.)

I would say virtually all of X’s posts are meant to get a response, there is always a dig, a sarcastic kick in the ass. And that alone - that alone - would make me suspicious as to his credentials.

Because I wonder how a guy that can reach a level of excellence would then turn around and get SO MUCH UNTIRING FUCKING ENJOYMENT repeating himself over and over and fucking over again, to complete and utter strangers who, he makes clear from his words and tone, are to him a bunch of ass clowns.

So, I wonder aloud, why would a guy, that has spent so much effort and therefore knows the value of that effort (one assumes) spend so many countless fucking hours never tiring of telling some faceless, nameless, clueless, and perhaps hopeless alias on a web forum, that they dont know shit.

That. I admit. Puzzles me.

For example, while my weightlifting resume is quite modest at this point, my academic education (in other areas) is advanced. And I know I could not find any enjoyment whatsoever posting in a forum where my area of interest is a topic, because there would be so many other avenues available for me, that would be far more fruitful and rewarding.

If someone claimed an advanced background in that area but then spent hour after fucking hour posting the same damn thing over and over in a stupid forum, I would be quite suspicious about his “credentials”.

Im not saying the X is a fraud, but that this one thing is something that is odd, to me.

Would you like to know how many times I was asked, “why are you going into the military”? I did it to help people. I also wanted to gain some experience, but I also did it to help people. I took a pay cut and decided the experience would be worth it. I wouldn’t expect you or anyone else to understand why I post on this forum. Most people wouldn’t do a whole lot of things I’ve done.

As for my credentials (outside of already giving this info out a lot this week) pm me and I doubt that will be an issue for you ever again. I’ve never had to lie here and I haven’t. You can be suspicious all you want. Just know that everyone isn’t motivated by the same things.

DS 007 sounds really immature…:\

DS 007 post bear a striking resemblance to Hack Wilson.

Professor X came across to me as an interesting, intelligent, passionate guy. What is the problem?
Respect appears to be going down the tubes right along with common courtesy.
When you get settled Prof…come on back, I can learn from you.
One other thing: Sylvia Plath was a brilliant poet.

To be honest with y’all I find the “We don’t know Prof X, this is an anonymous forum, he just wants attention, blah blah blah” posts worthless. The people who posts things like that above shouldn’t even be posting in forums if they think this little of their fellow posters.

I guess nowadays it’s easier to hide behind login names and avatars and flame others rather than to be helpful and civil. And here I thought this is a site where people work hard for their results.

Oh you did NOT just call Professor X “articulate!” You racist bastard.

Yes, I know. Cheap shot.

People who strive for good things, encourage others, and offer a helping hand are a dying breed.

Before it was outlift him in any lift in street clothes. Now that it has been exposed that you can’t bench shit because of cough an injury, you move the goalposts to snatch, clean and jerk, etc.
You sir are a keyboard warrior.

I have to say this topic is almost as gay as rainjack begging for attention with a pity party thread on fathers day and then unsuccessfully trying to impress people with his 2004 suburban.

do you people have real friends to rely on for life’s twists and turns?

Do you have real friends to annoy with your constant bitching, whining, and bragging?

So having real friends means someone would never be inclined to share experiences or thoughts with an online community?

how so? i don’t rely on chat rooms to give me direction through difficult times at all.

there is a big difference in using a chat room and living through it.

no, but it means that doing so is super gay.

“oh my god! i need to make a career change! my grandma died, my dog has cancer et cetera! i think i’ll go post online!”

super gay.

DS 007, lifting wates as a competition is something somebody chooses to do…
Claiming that you can lift more weight is silly. Just because who really gives a fuck?
Everybody starts somewhere, and everybody is at different levels. How the hell do you know that a person is even going for max strength? How do you know that you dont have more training years the the Prof?
From what I have seen the people who can move real weight are the last people to make a comment like yours…

You are the sole reason I asked for an “Ignore” function on this forum. I could ignore your posts, but your ugly fuckin face keeps starin me down!
