Noyce dips, it makes me jealous every time I see’em I used to be quite the dip-shit…but now it feels like my shoulder are gonna fall off even with body weight dips.

Thanks guys! Matty… i love weighted dips but there have been several periods in my life where they were a no go due to shoulder uncomfyness. So i’m milking them now while i can. Greg… yeah no breakage! Remember… no donkey calf raises with a dip belt!
Today is a big day for me. I was a big time dipper… not the dips above but Chewing Tobacco. I was up to 1.5 cans of Kodiak a day. I was really hooked and would do all kinds of addict things to do it. Hide it, lie… etc. I would make up a reason to go to the store so i could dip and my wife wouldn’t know during the one of many times i told her i quit but i folded.
Today is 500 days tobacco free. I have not had so much as a puff on a cigarette or a cigar at a wedding in 500 days. I still keep count because I never want to go back there. Ok… so onto today’s workout.

These were a bitch. I had to take like 10 second rest pause breaks. Left calf was cramping up a bit and I didn’t make it to 100. I noted the second set was like 3 minutes long. I’ll try it again at some point.

I smoked for far too long…only quit when I was pregnant and started up again when they were born, DUMB!
The hubby quit when he was over in A-stan…he gave me the kick in the ass because if he could do it over there, then I could do it too. Wasn’t til he came home on leave though that I kicked it completely.

great question. Everything is all up in the air with my hamstring. PT didn’t go great today so she thinks we are going too fast so now i can’t do legs really at all besides PT stuff. Hamstring injuries have been known to linger on and on so who knows when it will be when i can actually train my legs again. So given that, I can’t see pushing my weight up. But the diet has come off the tracks big time and I’m not doing cardio. I’m just going to eat and lift and we’ll see what my bodyweight does.
I’m off to the beach for a week on saturday so i may gain 10 lbs next week. ha.
getting caught up, nice stuff on here, and congrats on being smoke free. at one point I used to light up walking out of the gym, been smoke free for 6 years now? will occassionaly have a dip or a cigar though… that’s gotta go soon too

Thanks everyone. Don’t be too jealous yet Greg. I’ve got a house with my inlaws again in Ocean City NJ. I am suposed to move in sat afternoon for the week. But… NJ is declaring like a state of Emergency this weekend already because of Hurricane Irene. So… yeah might not get down there till Monday. We’ll see.
