The War on Drugs

Victimhood. Permanent state of victimhood.

I’m not a fan of Ben, but how in the world did people start using the word “apartheid” when describing Israel? This is just nuts. I’m checking out of anything pertaining to this topic. It’s not good for my sanity nor my profession since the latter involves lots of shit to do with consumer, and thus by extension, human behavior.

I think it’s also because I already know the answer because of my profession but I’m still in fucking denial.

Serenity now!

I don’t take kindly to his People.

Bloody DC fanboys.

Quit dissing Marvel.

@H_factor

Came back because of another thread where COVID was mentioned.

This post of mine which you highly criticized was 100% spot on and as I said at the time: we knew this then, and it stayed true. Funny how the data I cited was not made up by some COVID deniers. Next time you attack someone as if he’s a lying fool, maybe examine your own sources carefully beforehand.

I can’t really remember what was said as this was a long time ago and I would have figured you were over it by now as I was. But if I remember right I was saying to follow the CDC recommendations and I didn’t link anything I don’t believe.

I’m not sure apparently it was a bigger deal to you than I would have thought. I don’t really feel like going back and looking over everything again. But sorry it caused you so much pain.

Let’s not allow an argument to break out on this beautiful thread about the wholesome, family friendly topic of illicit drugs and associated legislature.

Sup dudez! Could I please have a moment of spare time when/if you guys are available at some point to take this quiz

https://www.politicalcompass.org/test

You’ve all identified as being relatively apolitical and/or independent. That being said, one can still despise mainstream politics/labelling and harbour predominantly progressive or conservative viewpoints. You can find “far right” and “far left” independent individuals.

With that in mind, I’d be curious to see where you all stand on this simple, short (around 5-10 minutes) test

https://www.politicalcompass.org/test

It’s not a comprehensive evaluation, rather this test gives the reader a series of prepositions to read and consider whether they agree/disagree with said prepositions. Upon answering all prepositions all answers are compiled and you receive your “political compass”.

I’ll post mine as of today (posted a while back here, but people’s opinions change over time)

Here are some representative examples of various countries

As to singapore… That sounds about right…

To note, this test isn’t entirely accurate. For example, within the Aus 2019 federal election the Greens are only considered marginally more left wing that I. Despite vouching for their stance on climate change, civil liberties and reproductive rights I find part of their social policy/PC culture, advocating for defunding the police force and their economic policies to be absurd. I can’t get behind their profoundly pro PLA (Palestinian authority) sentiment either.

Theoretically I might be “as left” as the greens, though for different reasons. I wouldn’t vote for them unless the alternative was to vote for two parties that both support extensively authoritarian policy. They use the race card for… Everything… It’s very irritating.

To cap off what I was saying. You can be very right wing, cater towards and authoritative viewpoint and still despise the regime Saudi Arabia has going on or very left wing yet still despise North Korea/Antifa. This is a very simplistic test that relates little to how one views various societies/cultures around the world.

I’m a Nazi

The guy who created Burzum was a neo nazi. One could argue he arguably pioneered the NSBM scene.

I actually listen to Burzum and own a Burzum t-shirt despite being jewish myself. Don’t listen to any other NSBM music though as I understandably don’t like antisemitism. Varg Vikernes is probably a psychopath, I dismiss his atypical extremist political ramblings and try dissociate his oddities from his music.

Actually there’s a lot of weirdos/fucked up individuals in the black metal scene… Do you know about the DSBM sub-genre?

If you actually ARE a nazi… I think you’re fighting for a lost and extremely unethical cause.

C’mon dude… You know im kidding. Varg is a dope but I do enjoy some Burzum.

I’m quite familiar with the DSBM. I dig Xasthur and Leviathan. Scott and Jeff are legit. Xasthur is now an acoustic project

They’re very wrong about China, though.

Even at the ground level, a jobless schizophrenic can get 5 credit cards from 5 different banks there. That would never happen in Singapore.

White supremist here.

Got you a new avatar

Did you actually remember my post about this quite some time back? If so, much appreciated lol.

Yup.
Can’t remember what l had for lunch, but… lol.

Haha.

For context so SJWs don’t go ballistic:

I was previously recalling how locals where I lived when I was a kid were calling me a “banana” - yellow on the outside, white on the inside - when my family converted to Catholicism since they were all Buddhists or Taoists and that it was more weird/amusing than insulting. And it’s pretty funny nowadays when I think about it.

Speaking of lunch, I just realized egg whites are racist. “Bad” cholesterol is something made up by White supremists. The fact that they are widely available in supermarkets in various forms shows the degree of systemic racism in existence.

Which post ? I haven’t been following along much

It’s in a thread on religion, mostly Catholicism, started by @BrickHead. It’s interesting as there were almost no arguments against religion in it. I think this is the first time on this site this has happened lol.

Can’t remember the title, though. If his profile isn’t private, you should be able to find it easily by looking through the threads he created.

EDIT:

Nevermind, found it much more easily on google.

I realize I didn’t elaborate on the “insult” as much as I remember. But it’s still fucking funny in an absurdist* kind of way.

*That’s post modernism, SJWs, so shut the fuck up.

P.S the google search engine is fucking powerful if you know how to use it properly. All hail our tech overlords!

I’ll play the “I have autism card” and confess that I honestly did not. Not a reflection on your character, it’s a reflection on my at times inability to adequately detect sarcasm.

Some people are suprisingly candid about this kind of stuff, I’ve personally had the misfortune of meeting and talking to two neo Nazis before!

Me too, my favorite DSBM band is arguably shining. I may or may not have their logo tattoed on me.

There’s a meme called “doomer guy” that has been applied to various subtypes of music. If you want a steady stream of DSBM music you’ve probably never heard before type in “doomer guy DSBM” and you’ll find a few playlists spanning from 30 minutes to up to 3 hours long. I don’t know a whole lot about memes but I know doomerguy because I found it relatable.

My favorite DSBM band is probably shining (may or may not have their logo inked on myself) followed by lifelover (are they DSBM? What do you think?)

When did you get into heavy metal? Particularly more extreme genres and as you’ve grown up were you able to find companions who you could share your music with? Is it common for people in the millitary/in the police force to like metal/punk

I’ve yet to find anyone who is well composed yet likes my music. By this I refer to the few I know/knew harbouring highly problematic traits that I won’t get into. I’m not typically particularly judgemental, so for me to consider someone a write off they need to be of particularly bad character.

Hell, I’d even take classic rock, but it seems the AC/DC sentiment has totally died out amongst the youth here. It’s all about Cardi B, fettywap or whatever.
