Regardless, male or female… it’d be nice to have friends who share my taste in music. I actually met a few in Europe (men and women)… we hit it off on the sheer basis of “we like the same music”. The metal scene here (where I live) is primarily composed of metalcore/deathcore bands… I like metal core, not a fan of deathcore… booth groups unfortunately tend to be very elitist… they’re kind of dicks, many have the “I’m so hardcore, look at this music, death metal is shit but deathcore is great” type attitude, the pure metalheads also discriminate upon those who like metalcore… I like both
I find metalcore to typically be an expansion of hardcore punk, I love hardcore punk… crossed with extreme metal and you’ve got an interesting mix

Just saying, the market is so massive and so significant literally not a single public company in the industry mentions it in their filings or transcripts. What’s that tell you about the significance? It means it’s a trivial part of the market.

A little xtc/molly isnt gonna hurt anyone, and most people who do that aren’t “druggies” either.
Know plenty of people, myself included, that do xtc/mdma once in a whole maybe once every 2 months or so thats it, but barely ever drink a drop of alcohol, dont drink, dont smoke, dont smoke weed, dont do coce, Nothing.
I have friends that intoxicate every single weekend go drunk from friday to saturday just make a silly mess, they drink as much in 1 hour as i do in a whole night when i do drink, they cause way more problems, public unrest, and relationship issues around them than the people who just drop a molly once in a while.
I also have friends that smoke weed every damn day for years as well, till the point they became stupid as hell and cant have an intelligent conversation anymore, do nothing all day but smoke weed and be unproductive as hell, dont have big dreams or goals, became simpleminded fucks, i started hating weed because of that, used to smoke it in high school few years and after that never again, its legal and common in the netherlands, but I despise it.
F* me i will never be like that, i stay away from weed, dont like a single thing about it, hate how it makes me feel and how it makes every lazy and simpleminded dumbed down fucks, booze only sometimes on a birthday or occasion, molly sometimes once every few months if with fun friends, thats all.
Alcohol and Tobacco should have more constraints and restriction laws on it, most inxociation accidents come from alcohol usage, molly doesnt hurt anyone around the person who uses it, worst thing that can happen is that you become too friendly and are nice to someone you actually dont like, thats about it.
People around me that have been drinking or smoking weed for years have messed up a lot of their relationships and friendships, i’ve seen it everywhere around, plenty of childhood friends or family members thats not much left of them socially, and intellectually.
While people that I know from the past who did molly once in a while are sitll perfectly intellectual and intelligent, not many relation issues either.

Few people would actually buy moonshine or unlabelled liquor. Regular people drink alcohol, not just crazy risk takers with no regard for their own wellbeing. From what I have seen, most black market liquor here is smuggled from the US where it is cheaper and no taxes are paid on it so it can be sold at a much lower price.
Well, what people buy as ecstasy is usually a blend of drugs, so what it is technically supposed to be is a different story. They used to sell “mescaline” here, but apparently it was actually just PCP. Should the government have provided pure mescaline?

Where I am from a pack of 20 is about $10 USD. However, people (my aunt and uncle) buy loose tobacco in a 2 lb bag, cigs without any tobacco, and then they have a machine that will put the tobacco in the empty cig (they can make about 10 packs in about 20 minutes). It costs about $1 USD to do this per pack, and is legal to do. If they sold these it would be illegal, but easy to do. The tobacco is good quality too in this case.

Lol I actually opted out of going to schoolies, secondly I’m not going to stop anyone from doing anything. There is a consensus within the youth here who use that MDMA is a safer, lighter alternative to alcohol that leads to less regrettable decision making. The majority of the time MDMA substitutes within the drugs are MDA, MDEA etc. Both substitutes are about as risky as MDMA… Safer than booze in an acute setting. No kids on MDMA harm anyone else, typically not themselves either… The only real harm is the prospect of lethal contaminants/excessive dehydration inducing cardiac arrest/arrythmia. We’ve been trying to stop kids taking this by employing sniffer dogs, harsh penalties, extensively policing
these events… It isn’t working, it’s becoming more and more accepted amongst the youth… So what do we do? How do we get them to stop? People die every year at schoolies… Not from MDMA though. 2/3rds + of kids at schoolies consume more than 10 standard drinks per night… Most kids won’t smoke tobacco though (say only 20% will), I don’t know the exact statistic… If we regulated MDMA within a similar manner to that of what we do with tobacco (in Aus this means plan packaging with warnings covering 100% of it, no appealing advertisements… On the contrary advertisements would exist to deter use etc…) I don’t think the other 60% not using will suddenly chime in… And even if they did, it’s better than 10+ standard drinks per night. Biggest risk with MDMA is neurological dysregulation, neurotoxicity stemming from repeated, frequent usage.
A lot of people say this about Molly… Yet have you actually seen the actual yearly figures regarding how many die each year from MDMA, contaminated MDMA etc… How many injuries are associated with the drug? The number is minute. There is currently an unwarranted societal stigma pertaining to a drug that was once legal and OTC prior to the initiation of “the war on drugs”. Keep in mind I’ve never taken MDMA, I just personally think it’s stupid and ignorant to think “this is the worst of the worst, only the dregs of society partake” because neither assumptions are true.
People shouldn’t be using any of this… But they do… What can we do about it to make sure people don’t die? The scale of deaths attributed to MDMA may be miniscule, but they’re still occuring.
Should be mentioned… In many areas, schoolies is dangerous… Alcohol fueled violence is very common. I’d feel very sorry for the police officer having to patrol such an area (not due to anything against police, but because you need to deal with crowds of heavily intoxicated teenagers… Arrest one of them in front of everyone else and the outcome will be nasty)
