Can I have 600$ for a fat tat (black sabbath shoulder tattoo)?
Did everyone miss how he went at @twojarslave for using wildly different regulatory approaches in an APPLES TO ORANGES comparison?
Wouldn’t you use different regulatory approaches when the situation is apples to oranges?
In a thread where he’s shitting on a cop for GED?
@marine77 don’t most cops at least have bachelors? I know 2 in my metro and both have one. Is that not normal?
Dude… Absolutely. Only If it’s the Sabotage cover though
I eat high fat high carb and high protein because science can’t be trusted. High calories just in case of food shortage. Gotta look out for number one.
Depends on the department. We’re having a hiring issue here. Much of it because of losers like that plinnyc88 weirdo. Nobody wants to do this job anymore.
I’m sure it being St Louis doesn’t help. Don’t think there’s enough money worth that kinda stress.
I love it. But yea you’re right too. Lousy city. Bad schools. Residency requirements. High violence.
Nah, it’s the shittiest album (never say die)… but the gas mask tats are sick
This one (pic not me)
I love black sabbath, I think those who appreciate the band (in it’s best and worst elements) will appreciate the reference
Heavy metal music has helped me through some of the toughest times throughout my life. Thus I believe even if I regret my decision later on, I’ll still be able to look back at this tattoo and it’ll remind me of my youth… for better or worse
I love that record.
You left out being home to the Cardinals far bigger issue than the rest of that.
Sorry obligatory shit post from a jealous of their success Royals fan
I honestly wasn’t quite sure where he was going with that, but you’re right that it is a perplexing choice of words, given the context.
I mean, I know several black market pot dealers personally. Nice people. They’re doing just fine. They’ll have more to compete against when Maine drops the medical card requirement to buy from a dispensary, but that’s not a high hurdle for ANYONE to clear.
Right now you just pay the $150 or whatever to get the card or have your friend who has one pick it up for you. When that goes away it will mean that anyone can go to a dispensary. My hunch is that this will (in most cases) mean new customers for dispensaries rather than lost customers for black market dealers. Who knows though? We’ll find out when it happens.
As long as there are taxes on it, the black market guys will have an in. Even if there aren’t, they still have the opportunity to compete and will probably find a way to. They don’t need to follow the law, after all. That’s a big advantage.
Haha… Im not into sports at all.
Are you into other 70s era rock/metal bands like
- judas priest
- deep purple
- Motorhead
I was going to get a Motorhead tattoo, but being Jewish I can’t justify getting that given Lemmies penchant for collecting nazi artefacts
100%. Im an old school dirt head
I think it depends on your clientele. My sister and ex BiL are both dealing atm on the side, with BiL’s roommate having just started apprenticeship under a master grower up in Michigan where they just legalized it.
BiL is bleeding clients. People were “taking advantage” of the medical system when it was just the cards, but he said all that really did was open up a much shorter supply chain for wax/oil/etc compared to going elsewhere. Rec legalization is what killed him. You can drive a couple hours and get tested and quality long term stuff and walk out with a smile. All you need is a bud guy for when you’re in the mood.
I haven’t spoken with my sister about it, but I’d guess she’s losing a lot less clients. She specifically isn’t getting her card in OH due to fear of govt monitoring/etcetc. Not totally unfounded, but like jesus they don’t need you to sign up for a card list to know. You worked at a dispensary in CA for 6 months like a weird indentured servant.
Everyone I know in that life says raw legalization would completely gut the entire industry top to bottom. Without the taxation, you’re left competing with economies of scale and big business.
I’d rather take my chance in game of thrones than winning that fight.
I plan on a Slayer Imperial Eagle tattoo
Noice
I was going to see slayer at downloadfest last year… I went by myself and got… mugged
0/10 wouldn’t do again
Going into the medical tend with blood pouring down my clothes due to a punch to the face that connected with my nose… not fun
Wait a minute… I’m going back to downloadfest this year, it’s in two weeks
If by RAW legalization you mean an uber-libertarian approach… maybe? I think you’re friends are underestimating just how enterprising people can be, and it will definitely depend on clientele if you’re talking about low-level dealers. If you’re slinging grams to the Starbucks crowd, well, they’re going to be hitting up the weed store when it opens.
The guys growing the good stuff and selling it on the black market will probably always have buyers. Right now in Maine the legal stuff is actually reasonably priced with taxes. $25-$35 an 1/8th.
Big deal. Plenty of money to be made in bulk sales and at the $15-$20 an 1/8th range for similar quality.
How low can you go?
What about convenience? Does your dispensary deliver?
What about bulk sales to people from out-of-state or even swarthy Canadians?
Read about all of the illegal grows in California, if you haven’t. Plenty of incentive exists, which means there are plenty of market niches to fill.
Weed is legal here and organized criminals are still growing and selling it. There are illegal black market cigarettes too.
