The Walking Dead Season 2 Pt. 2

Can’t just leave Shane in a bus surrounded by zombies!

Bastards!

Okay, I knew Rick couldn’t leave Shane.

I think that this will split into two separate camps. One with Shane/Andrea the other with Rick/Lori/Dale.

I don’t know how the rest of the crew will fall yet.

I thought it was a good episode. Rick and Shane needed to work it out, but Shane wont let it go.

Andrea was right about calling Lori out on her shit.

If that was the case, then when Rick wasted those two in the bar, wouldn’t they have turned?
He blasted em both in the head, destroyed the brain, therefore they wouldnt turn.

how long it takes for someone to turn varies quite a bit

Knowing what she knows about both Shane and Rick and how they’ll go about handling the situation of the love triangle - Do you think she’s hedging her bets with her discussion with Rick at the end of the episode?

What I mean is, in her mind, she’ll pit the two against each other and be with whoever returns from the Thunderdome she’s setting up? I.e. to the victor goes the spoils with her beat up poon being the spoils
Dunno, but at this point I believe Rick will figure out he’s not the father. I think whatever Doc Jenner whispered to him had something to do with Lori’s pregnancy. I doubt he just told Rick she was pregnant, otherwise Rick would have been all over it.

Jenner either told him that he saw Shane with Lori, or that he gave her a medical, ran some tests and found out she was with child and who the father was.
Here’s why I disagree with your Jenner theory: In the first scene of the first episode of season 2, Rick was trying to contact Morgan on the walkie talkie and told him they had been to the CDC and said that Jenner told him (Rick)…and just trailed off and said never mind. It didn’t matter.

Now, my line of reasoning is why would he bring that up with Morgan if what Jenner had told him had anything to do with Lori’s pregnancy? Plus, I’m sure, had that actually been what Jenner told him, Rick would’ve talked to Lori about it on the car ride at some point (between leaving the CDC and when they encounter the traffic jam S2/E1).

I think what Jenner told Rick has something to do with the infection and one of the reasons why Rick (when talking to Hershel in the bar) has given up hope…

However, as mentioned before, the writing isn’t exactly consistent so your theory may very well be true…
I bet you Jenner told him that they were all infected, and that at death all turn into walkers.
I would hope that this isn’t it. I think I have mentioned it before, but if everyone had the virus, then any stillborn baby would turn into a zombie, yeah.

Pregnancy is dangerous enough without being eaten from the inside out.
no teeth
Gums don’t kill people, people kill people.

No one knows where your avatar is from, Stern. I know. Roybot knows. Iron Dwarf knows.

It was a great movie with a banging soundtrack.
hey, I’ve got the DVD and te soundtrack!

Who else respected Glen more after he owned up to hot farm girl his pants-wetting at the shootout?

Was it just me, or was Shane thinking that he might have been scratched in the past (maybe at the school)?

You mean her being jealous that Shane would rather have Lori over her, even after they banged?

And LOL at her saying she protects the camp. How? By banging Shane and shooting Daryl?

Dale should have let her off herself.

Agreed, I hate Andrea. Letting a kid try and kill herself to prove a point is absolutely retarded. Kids are also absolutely retarded. They kill themselves over myspace messages and getting dumped by their 12 year old boyfriends.

What xactly does Andrea do though? Watching for walkers when there is are natural baracads all over the place?

all shes done is almost kill Darryl.

Lori was right, they should try to be as normal as possible while they can…

for all the bad decisions lori might make, at least she cooks and cleans…

andrea? bitch about her gun

sitting on the rv looking for wakers is so unimportant that glen and dale dont eve bother with it anymore…absolutely no eason for it.

andrea is completely worthless

I think it was a bit of bad writing (overall this episode sucked ass in my opinion due to bad writing) but the significance was to hint that people who die without being bitten will still turn
I didn’t think it was bad writing at all.

I think it was definitely setting the stage so that now Rick knows that if someone dies even without being bitten, they turn into a walker and rise from their grave.

So, like, if someone you know gets shot and killed, and you bury them, you might have to go dig them up later to put one through their brain because you know they wouldn’t want to “live” as a walker.

Just sayin’.

No, it was really the other shit about how Lori is trying act all mother hen and make rules for everyone else.

Not saying that Andrea is particularly useful, but I’d rather have her around than Lori if a walker were to show up.

What kid? The one who wanted to check out looked older than 12. She didn’t seam particularly young to me and she had some pretty good reasons for wanting to die.

^^

The only reason she gave was that “it was inevitable”. If that’s the case why don’t we all just kill ourselves at birth? We’re all going to die eventually, we might as well off ourselves before we have to deal with all that bullshit.

Andrea would have died at the CDC if Dale didn’t guilt trip her out. She said she eventually “got over it”, but if somebody hadn’t stepped in and forced her not to kill herself, she would never have even been alive to let the girl make that decision.

I think if you wake up in a zombie apocalypse, suicide is a bit more valid.

I’m with Christine about Lori and Andrea.

I used to hate Andrea but like her a lot more lately.

Andrea only female lead that comes off as some what normal for the situations and appropriate for real life. The rest are zombie bait.

Yeah it’s hard to imagine wanting to just revert to being a homemaker when you will need to fight off zombies and your men are always off being reckless and almost getting themselves killed. I wonder when we found out the Andrea is pregnant…

Well Shane is on a mission to screw everyone, his best friend, his wife, some chick he picked up, Otis. So reason would suggest that Andrea is next, then he will shoot her in the leg and leave her some where.

Exactly, while clean clothes and hot meals are nice and welcome, learning how to fight off zombies is a hellava lot more useful.
