The Tool Thread

No, not the Snap-On® or Craftsman® variety. I’m talking about talentless, overpaid dudes who just take up space and continue to be hyped by the media.

My list would include:

Zach Braff
Ben Affleck
Adam Sandler
Jimmy Kimmel

Add some at your leisure.

Why the fuck since that ONE interview does everyone hate on Zach Braff so much? I guarantee without that, no one would have even thought of him. Extremely stupid.

Tools -

Bono
Madonna
David Blaine
Sarah Palin
Al Davis
LANE KIFFIN
Eric Mangini
Soulja Boy
Tom Cruise
Uwe Boll
Jerry Bruckheimer
Michael Bay

Damn, I really could do this all day.

I was hoping this was going to be a tread about the band Tool.

Me too.

What was the interview with Braff?

Jay Leno - I find hime incredibly un-funny
Rob Scneider
Adam Sandler
Ben Affleck
Mark Wahlberg

DANE COOK

Where did my generation go wrong?

And people say I have poor taste.

I only like Zach Braff on scrubs. Everything else about him is un-funny.

My list consists of:
Tom Cruise
Ben Aflack
Brad Pitt
Dane Cook

Anyone on here watching Tool Academy on VH1?

I’m right there with you concerning Zach Braff. He’s a douchebag. Can’t watch Scrubs anymore, it’s just painful.

Other Dudes that are Tools.

Dimitri Martin, watched his show last night and it was fucking awful.

Spencer Pratt
Seacrest
Rich Rodriguez
Rod Blagojevich
Kwame Brown
Nancy Pelosi
Rachel Ray
Jason Biggs (probably a nice guy but always plays a tool in movies.)
Nadya Suleman
Sarah Silverman

And the Champ based on longevity of Tool behavior?

Adam Duritz, perhaps the sole catalyst for all emo music that we have to put up with today.

I disagree with the choice of Adam Sandler and Brad Pitt.

Sandler cashed in on his Billy-Madison-esque plotlines one (or four) too many times. I thought Zohan was hilarious though.

Brad Pitt’s a damn good actor. I dislike many movies he’s in, but not because of his acting.

Most of the rest I agree with.

I’ll add Tim Allen. By proximity, if nothing else.

Pitt is a damn good if not excellent PHYSICAL actor. He’s just so natural doing things on screen. But his vocal/verbal acting is mostly sub-par, IMHO.

Wait a minute, Fred Durst? How far back does this list go? I mean, can we implicate Marie Antoinette? Nero?

I thought there was a time horizon on this or something.

Yeah, well someone previously mentioned Rob Schneider… and I can’t recall the last decade that guy did anything either.

lol

Shoot, beat me to it.

As long as I’m here, I’m going to add:

Oprah and that stupid book club of hers.
Ben Stiller
Michael Bay
Oprah (Again)

EDIT: I just noticed that SSC already mentioned Michael Bay.

Marie Antoinette has been misquoted for centuries. That was revolutionist propaganda. She was actually a pretty cool chick. Nero didn’t fiddle when Rome burned: he sang ‘The Fall of Troy’ in costume, which, when you think about it, is entirely appropriate. It’s not like he was going to run around with a bucket.

Have you seen the South Park with Bono? It’s one of my favorites.

I think he is one of the best actors out there personally.

I would have to say
Tom Cruise
Steven Seagal
Paul Walker

Best. Episode. Ever.

Hey, guess what?

Limp Bizkit have announced they’re getting back together.

I just wish Wes and Lethal would form their own band, the world can do without Durst. And since Lincoln Park basically took the whole genre, pussied it up and ran with it what else would Limp have to offer?

How can somebody who gives so much to charity still be the biggest shit in history!
