I don’t know. What exactly is a “slum”? If it is like a ghetto, people aren’t exactly looking weak in those parts of town even if they use food stamps.
Hrmmm… a woman who works out is attracted to a man who also appears to workout.
She can instantly see that you have common interests and how you will be a good fit for her without even speaking a word.
You’d get the same effect going to Bikram Yoga and being ultra flexible.
Didn’t read it. Shit was too long and they looked like shit.

I think the point was, many of the people who make a truly large issue of how muscular someone is (as in the girls who scream out, “eewwww” as a reflex action upon seeing veins on a bodybuilder for the first time), likely have issues with their bodies.
Women hate to be upstaged. They think of how they will look standing next to someone. They don’t act like most guys who simply see something they like and want it without the extra deep thinking about how their girlfriends will think you two look together. Most normal sedentary girls may just feel self conscious upon seeing someone who clearly stands out that much physically…not because they literally hate muscles at all but because of all that they have read into what those muscles stand for. That is why asking most normal women what they like could possibly give you a skewed result. They don’t ever just answer what they really like…because what they really like also includes not feeling like they play second fiddle to the main act.
So, yes, a girl who works out and/OR simply has a very positive self image may be less likely to feel intimidated by someone who catches the looks of people in the room before they do.
Working out itself wasn’t the point being made.

I thought you were educated.[/quote]
?? This was directed at me? What does not knowing what a “slum” is in some other country have to do with being well educated HERE?
I haven’t even seen the movie and most people in America don’t follow the events in INDIA unless their heritage is there.
That was one retarded remark.
As retarded as the guy is, he has SOME valid point, as pertaining to women.
The underlying problem, however, is what he neglects to mention. The fact that many people (including myself) don’t find their primary motivation in working out to be attracting women to themselves. It’s just a side benefit that comes with it. Just like my ink…I don’t get it to be sexy…but if some women happen to find it sexy, so be it.
As a side note, I’ve NEVER gotten a negative comment when I take off clothes. Interesting…lol.

Then I agree… Having a ton of muscle does not deter most women from wanting to fuck you. This belief is a product of the youth of these boards. Most men in their teens and early twenties aren’t completely secure/comfortable with who they are.
