The Testes 2013

Hello my dear friends and fellow members of the nation that is testosterony.

Ct. Rockula/sexsix6 or whatever the hell has requested that I start the thread for this year’s awards in his absence.

It is an incredible honour and my pleasure to do so, but I feel a bit nervous as he has left mighty big shoes to fill.

I will, however, step up to the plate, and do my best in order to make him proud.

I ain’t gon’ letchu down son!!

So uhh,

I guess you all should nominate people for some things??

Most missed Iron Dwarf

Runner up Cortes (only cuz I think he’ll come back!)

I’ll throw a nomination for most helpful over to AnytimeJake. I don’t think he lowers himself to coming into this subforum much lol, but he has many, many years of experience powerlifting and training, and I see him offering kind advice all over the place.

‘Biggest Ass’ is as good a category to put him in as any. Hates the USA but can’t explain why. Harped on about ‘opinions’. Yes, opinions are like assholes and he proved that like assholes, some opinions are full of shit and need wiping clean and flushed down the nearest latrine. Exactly what happened to his, in fact.

At first I thought On Edge was talking about StevenF, the man with the fish avatar, and I thought, “that’s bullshit! StevenD is a great guy! How could he be the biggest ass…?” And then I read the “Being Different” thread and it all made sense.

And if it hadn’t been for your crazy tall tale about me stitching myself up in the wilderness with wild boar sinew, I might never have come back in the first place.

I sub-nominate him for the ‘Steven Seagal in Under Siege’ award : least convincing cook ever.

Tall tale?

Anyway, I told that story two or three years ago. Were you thinking it over all that time then finally said to yourself “what the heck, I’ll come back”? It is good to have you back though, I’m glad you were able to escape the clutches of Annie. How are the ankles, btw?

No, believe it or not I didn’t see that thread, or your post, until the day I posted.

Damn, you are the master of obscure references.

First a reference to my sweet teenaged witch, and now “Annie” and my ankles.

Hmm.

Annie could be Little Orphan Annie, Annie Lennox, Annie Oakley, or perhaps Annie Hall, although I don’t recall being in the clutches of any of these ladies.

And my ankles are fine, thanks.

Damn. I feel like I should have caught on by now. Another hint, sir, if ye be so kind.

Annie Wilkes! Who else could keep a writer off TN for years?
