The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 2)

The stupidity continues!

I’m saying, repeatedly and clearly, when the federal government gives you or your employer a contract, that contract will come with strings attached. That might include them telling you what you put on your phone, or where you are allowed to carry it.

I’m also saying calling that “censorship” is stupid. I’m not aware of the federal government owning any slaves or indentured servants so if you or your company competed for a government contract, you should have known it would come with strings attached.

I am sure there are many contractors who never handle anything sensitive, hence my comment about the guy stocking the snack machines. It would seem to me unnecessary and pretty stupid to worry about whatever apps he has on his phone. However, as we’re talking about the Federal Government, they will probably try to regulate what’s on his phone as well, because simplistic, over-reaching regulation is what they’re all about.

Anything beyond Government Employees or Contractors would be over-reach by the government, and they would only using “protecting consumers” as an excuse to protect the profits of their big tech sponsors.

If that isn’t spelled out clearly enough for you, you’re on your own at this point. I agree with many of your posts on here, but you’re just being argumentative, and I’m not at work dealing with insomnia, but am home with my kids today, so not wasting any more time on you. Have a good day.

The parts in bold are true. They have not restricted it, they asked that it not be installed/used. I’m also not sure if it’s so much the government that asked, as it was the contractors. If you couldn’t tell, I have some experience in this department - and that is me being humble (a rarity).

agree wholeheartedly.

Possibly, or perhaps they are for once doing their job and actually protecting citizens/national security interests as is one of their only purposes for existence. I agree with getting rid of TikTok for both the security concerns it garnishes, and the deliberate damage it causes the teens who use it.

Drugs are banned because they cause damage. I don’t see why banning TikTok is any different really.

What are the odds that leftists blame the gun for the shooting again? Because it’s obviously NOT a mental health crisis. Trannies are the most mentally sound people I’ve ever heard of.

A close examination of why other countries with weapons don’t have this problem (Canada) needs to be had. I firmly believe the culture in the US is the problem here (along with the mental health crisis).

I am a second amendment fan but I worry about sending my children to school everyday because of these situations. They happen far too often for comfort. What other country has active shooter drills for school children? I have not found any.

I heard about this but haven’t read or viewed any content about it, but will.

As I’ve asked before, why are such shootings occurring? Ted Cruz, couldn’t come up with at least some theories when asked. I almost once started a thread that I was going to title, “Theories for school/mass shootings.” School shootings seem to be an American phenomenon and there are reasons why, I believe.

School my children are zoned for.

My high school.

Elementary school in my district.

And I live in a “nice town.” There’s nowhere to hide now friends, even with the advice of “conservatives.”

What point are you trying to make?

Dude I’m just posting the videos to share.

Thanks for sharing

Perhaps he wanted to simply share something that characterizes the ridiculousness (or stupidity, considering this thread’s title) of the US in the current day. It would have been fitting for my Balkanization/secession thread.

I can’t speak for him but that was my hunch about his post.

Mental illness
Breakdown of the families
Video games
No or very little discipline
Bullying (i was bullied but i got over it)
Removal of GOD
Families afraid to report domestic incidences
Copycat syndrome
Glorification of these shootings

just off the top of my head

Pretty much, it was the first thing I saw on YouTube after training last night.

I wonder what drives people to do these kind of things. I do believe mental illness has a lot to do with it, just look at the last messages of the shooter, (insert pronoun) was suicidal:

Mental illness and a whole lot of simping…

What I don’t get…if you want to die, then go die

why take others lives, especially children…i will never comprehend that mentality

Doesn’t attention seeking behavior stem from low self esteem?

That could be why.

Mental illness combined with a combination of an elevated sense of self-worth/my truth. Every one of these freaks is a spoiled weirdo who’s been allowed to be that way and protected instead of having the shit kicked out of it.

Its a “look what you made me do!” mentality.

Thats from blaming society at large or maybe a few institutions in particular for ones unhappiness.

Happiness is an inside job.

This doesn’t surprise me at all. After all, we live in the most narcissistic society in history.

To be remembered. I believe most of these shooters were neglected entirely at home.
