The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 2)

My post had 10 specific examples to back up my broader point.

Yours had zero, not because you’re intellectually lazy, but because you’re just plain wrong about what you’re saying.

I’m not wrong and I don’t think you’re wrong.

No. Because he’s trolling.

No I’m not. I’m pointing out hypocrisy.
I don’t care if I don’t sound smart.

There may be hypocrisy but you aren’t pointing it out.

You’re going to have to find some first.

There isn’t a single thing about any of his previous posts that is inconsistent or untrue.

When did I say he was wrong though?

You’re talking about pointing out hypocrisy.

Point it out.

I pointed out the hypocrisy within my previous posts.

No. Thats just name calling and whataboutism.

Try quoting something specific then pointing out the inconsistency.

Ex.

Politician says “I want to protect the children. I care about kids” then procedes to vote yes on a bill cutting snap benefits in exchange for a yes vote in the future from the bills sponsor.

The hypocracy here is that the politician just sold out the people he claimed to want to protect for political leverage. The inconsistency is that he reduced benefits to people in need that he claimed to care about.

On the other side of the spectrum: My father in law is a dick. Everything he does and says is in support of or to advance being a dick.
He is perfectly consistent, without conflict or dissonance, and of good integrity even in spite of the fact that he’s a dick. Because he has always been one and doesnt claim to be otherwise.

See the difference? They’re both dicks, but example #1 also lacks integrity and is a hypocrite.

Considering you’ve never been a parent, you might want to reconsider suggesting how parents should feel. I’m not being sarcastic or argumentative here, I’m just sharing a real suggestion.

He’s kinda right though, but not the way he thinks.

Its not fear of some awkward lumpy woman in man pants or some silly dude wearing make up & a dress though.

Its an entire segment of our population who are trying to abrogate parental rights.

Thats definitely something we need to keep an eye on.

I also kind of find it funny the the “follow the science” (which was pretty awful) pandemic folks are also the ones who are ignoring the emerging data showing the horrible outcomes for kids who have been on puberty blockers/hormones/had body modification surgery

It has an awesome name that anybody who can’t get behind it should be vilified for.

Gender Affirming Care

You want to deny these poor at risk children medical care?

You might as well kick puppies into a gator pit!

Looks more like anti-anti-wokism, to me. Looks like people upset that Why Johnny Whiteboy was Born Evil, and Have You Ever Seen A Grown Man Naked?(I think I made up those titles) were removed from bookshelves are trying to make a point by removing everything.

Her talking like that, I understand, because.

It’s the fact that the show she is on is apparently popular (The View), that’s what is truly stupid and scary.

Gutfeld on Fox mocks that show constantly (usually with her face shown), in ribald fashion, one of the reasons I like him.

With starstruck housewives and yentas.

You leave Barbra Streisand out of this, I liked the way we were.
