They were partners in a business enterprise.

In real life, it’s not about race, it’s about power/money.

Since you went there, I’ll just say that maybe that harsh fact will free up the rational people from the onerous mantle of ā€œI am only where I am because of the other race oppressing meā€.

I’d like to see the reparations paid by the governments of west Africa that benefited from it.

In what way is that a big nasty fact?

Any idiot should know that

Although I’m not sure why you included the words ā€œfellow peopleā€ as if you were trying to imply something race related.

It kinda ruins the narrative that modern day white people owe anybody anything.

I’m right there with you on that.

You don’t feel any common bond with your fellow african americans in the battle against oppression from the white devils, crackers, etc?

I mean, who do the black people want reparations from?

I guess you’re just going to have ask each and every blacks person on what they want: men, women, children, perhaps even the babies.

Common bond? What do you mean by this?

You support reparations, correct?

Who do YOU believe should pay them?

I didnt ask anything about what. The subject is reparations.

The question is from whom do they want them/it?

Common bond. Shared experience. Like all the guys who joined the Marines, or fought in Viet Nam.

Common bond.

If you have to ask, you must not feel it.

Whoever offers them

I don’t know, I don’t speak for a group of individuals. You gotta find that out yourself.

No, I don’t. Because if it were up to me the subject of reparations for slavery would be dropped from common parlance and never heard of again.

So it looks like starting this year, Florida AND Michigan are required to take a financial literacy course to graduate high school. In my opinion I believe this should be required by every state, hopefully other states will replicate the same thing.

I actually wrote a college paper about the need for this, except that if we are to continue with Standardized Testing, that this metric should be a category in these as well.

Next thing we should get are required traditional masculinity classes……okay I’m kinda joking with that one. It could be beneficial, but also harmful.

So, bring back industrial arts?

Some places still have these or half day regional trade schools.

I think this would achieve the same result, but without disparities among gender and sexual orientation.

+1 to trade skills as mentioned by @SkyzykS

Rest In peace to those who lost their lives. So sick and tired of gun violence.

Edit: Stupid TikTok almost made me think it was race related

Humans are violent animals - always have been.
