To me the song was cringe. Nothing more, nothing less.
Id argue itās no less cringe than lil Nas X or Tekashi69, but ill concede that face tattoos are always dumb.
I think Iil Nas X makes decent catchy music. I donāt like the music videos cause they are disgusting.
I actually like 69.
I agree. I may agree with a lot of what heās saying, but the song sucks. Itās basically a collection of my PWI posts barely disguised as rap, presented by the whitest white guy on the internet with the help of every modern production method available.
Iām not lifting weights to this. Iām not driving my car to this. Iām not fucking to this.
Back in my day we had talented rap artists who could intelligently present their social and political commentary and STILL BE COOL. All without autotune.
The act or the artist?
Is there really even a difference?
Damn. I miss rap videos having good-looking women and nice cars. Fat chicks and ATVs are a poor substitute.
Edit:
@BrickHead, do you think these easily-obtainable things are in modern rap videos for any particular reason?
Is anyone else dying to have Twojar list the songs he is willing to have intercourse to?
Dear God, I HATE Color Me Badd with a red-hot, burning passion. We must be about the same age.
Hey, I never liked them either, but it WORKED!!!
I miss Eminem, Ludacris, 50 cent, etcā¦
You forgot Color Me Badd!
It was then that I learned when a girl rubs her bum on you it means she wants the sex.
For the ski bus girls holding ornamental snowboards.
Was Tupac in Digital Underground on Humpty Dance? Or was that a different time frame?
Thats a good question.
Iāll check.
Humpty dance:
Yep!
He was part of the Digital Underground on the tour to support that album.
I always get flashbacks of Uncle Buck when I hear Young MC ⦠also, shout out to RHCPās Flea in the video playing bass
Also, Digital Underground were in a terrible Chevy Chase/Dan Akroyd movie called āNothing But Troubleā from the early 90ās (iirc)
Slappin it like it said something about his momma! ![]()
Thoughts?
