Thatās virtually a hate crime in this sick state. Newsom was kind enough to release a large number of them during his 2 years of lockdowns and mask wearing mandates.
They can break into your house and you are not legally allowed to shoot them unless you had reason to āfear for your lifeā (must be armed). They are also allowed to sue (and have won) in civil court if you are unfortunate enough for them to have lived.
I need to leave this state.

Funny story from law school - our torts professor (who I am still friends with to this day even though he leans left on some things but is reasonable and logic minded) was going over self-defense and how you can be sued if they live.
I raised my hand and said so as a matter of legal principle you should never let anyone live that your shoot in self-defense to avoid litigation?
He paused and said legally - yes, but morally probably not.

Iāve also heard the argument that if you draw a weapon in self defense you should always use it. If you donāt use it, then maybe you werenāt really in fear for your life and were just brandishing. By using it, you prove that you were really afraid and didnāt have other options. So putting it together, if you draw a gun, donāt put it away until they are dead.

I would highly recommend you seek out Andrew Brancaās work. If you pull out a gun an your attacker immediately breaks off their attack to run away and you shoot them in the back, you are going to prison for a long time.

Iād say this is completely false.
You can draw your weapon to ready yourself if your life is threatened, but the moment the threat stops, retreats, or is no longer a threat - do not shoot.
It is always situation and fact dependent, but drawing your weapon and not discharging any rounds can be justified.

This happened in Florida and the shooter is in prison. Video showed his attacker backing away before he was shot.
There was an incident along these lines in my area a couple years ago. An angry, possibly drunk boyfriend advanced on his gfās dad with a shovel or pickaxe or something, the dad shot him once, he fell down, dad comes up and shoots him again. Boyfriend dies.
The first shot was self defense, the second one made it a little more problematic.
The dad was a wealthy farmer who posted his $1 million bail in cash. Probably was able to afford a good lawyer. I donāt really remember what ended up happening though, or if a verdict has even been reached yet.
EDIT: It was resolved last spring.

To ME it looks dumb and could/should be posted in a thread about stupidity. Is it supposed to be a symbol of toughness? If anyone gets into a scrap with someone like that an easy āwinā is to pull on the piercings theyāve placed in their chin, nose, eyebrows etcā¦

Lyrics are good, but from what iāve heard this guy is a provocateur and doesnāt necessarily believe what he saysā¦ heās purportedly a liberal, albeit he could be one of the centre left individuals (becoming increasingly rare) that despises political correctness. Bill Burr is an example of this.
The mainstream left in countries like America are trending further left while the right are going further right. The closer you edge towards political radicalism, the more the ātruthā gets thrown out the window in favour of censorship, and biased narratives.
Try arguing with someone who fundamentally views the dynamics of reality in a different vein to that of yourselfā¦ itās emotionally exhausting, but that doesnāt mean itās ok to cancel that personā¦ cancel culture has gone WAY too far.
Imagine if one complains about left wing PC culture and the associated cancel culture but then goes on to say one shouldnāt even be allowed to talk about identity politics. As stupid and annoying as the PC stuff is, pandering towards the opposite extreme and advocating for extensive censorship is no different from what the far left are doing. Both sides are guilty of polarisation here.
You are trying to suppress the narrative you donāt likeā¦ thatās also what the woke are doing. As this guy intelligently puts it, thereās a difference between HATE speech (that should be censored) and speech that you hate (shouldnāt necessarily be subject to censorship). We donāt necessarily need an echo chamber. If someone is trying to force a conversation with you that makes you uncomfortableā¦ as one person feel free to shut them down and say āIām not comfortable with this conversationā.
