I understand true transsexual have gender dysphoria. If presenting as the opposite sex makes their life easier that’s fine with me (Look up opinions on stuff by Buck Angel, Blair white - “offensive tranny” on youtube - they all are reasonable people and recognize that their issue is a psychological medical conditon). All those I mentioned know they are either a man/woman but want to present as the opposite gender. No issues with any of that at all. They are not claiming to be non-human.
Heck, I am like 75% of the way to Buddhist and am open to the idea of past lives as different animals/spirits etc…but am fully aware that right now I am human.
You don’t know the pain I feel everyday when someone mis-species me as a human, when really I identify as a half-eaten Go-Gurt tube. I just hope that one day, people will learn to be more accepting, put their micro-aggressions aside, and refer to me as what I tell them they have to.
The thing I hate most about these folks is they all claim to be “neuro-divergent”. That’s become a cop out term used by anyone who feels slightly different.
I actually have autism and have cousins/friends with it and it is quite insulting to get lumped in with these folks who seriously need mental health help/are insane. It’s sad that so many are buying into their delusions instead of getting them help.
The conditions in old school sanitoriums were horrible, but I am starting to think we ought to bring them back as a safe place for these folks to live.

Agreed, which is a serious mental illness that leads to over 40% suicide rate. Now, they are pushing it on children as okay and the cool hip thing to do. Anyone that does this should be eradicated with extreme prejudice.
The problem is people are championing this as rational and sane. It is not.
Wanting to mutilate your body is fucked up and these people need serious help.
I think Americans in general should really consider that for the relatively small amount of money that we are dumping into Ukraine (compared to, say, Afghanistan), we are getting one hell of a good deal. It’s not possible to know for sure what Zelensky is deep down, but it doesn’t really matter. The damage being done to the Putin regime is incredible. And while I was one of those who reserved judgment on Putin and gave him the benefit of the doubt for well over a decade, it’s clear now that he is evil.
Punish it for what? From what I hear, it’s getting beaten and abused by Ukraine. Complete domination, as far as I know.
Do you watch Ralphie beating Scut Farkus’s ass in A Christmas Story and think, “I’m all for the other kids doing anything they can to punish Farkus, short of curb stomping him?”
Punish it for invading a sovereign nation and committing war crimes. Supporting monsters like Al-Assad. Russia needs to be beaten down to the point where it is hundreds of years before they ever think about doing something so dumb again.
