The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 1)

Any decent school would have academic and behavior standards.

White privilege is so five years ago. You have a whole list of privileges now so everyone can have some.

Those minorities have been replaced by the trans team.

That reflect the times we live in.

Actually, to protect the States from the central government. Many(all?) of the States had clauses in their Constitutions to protect their citizens from their State governments.

No shit?!?

I know a professor that published a huge groundbreaking thing on this a little while back. Took like 10 years of investigation and research & whatnot.

Thats all. Back to the regularly scheduled programming.

This is their unspoken intent.

Law school was pretty bad. It was a weekly routine for me to get into arguments with certain professors who were trying to make you feel guilty for being on a certain side of an issue or framing an issue where if you chose the opposing viewpoint even with sound logic you were wrong. I had to remind them that I was paying to be there. Grading was supposed to be anonymous. They did a conservative student dirty on grading and it got out - teacher lost their job (I reported them to the bar association too - ended up in disbarment for dishonesty), dean had to step down. They tried to keep it very quiet, but I made sure it wasn’t

3 years after I got out of law school they made a diversity class mandatory and created a diversity and inclusion office. I am glad I got out before that. That is also the point I completely cut my alma mater off from any more donations.

Damn, nice work there.

I only donate to my fraternity chapter at my undergraduate alma mater or make sure my donations go directly to the college of engineering. I don’t need to fund useless crap.

Oh it made half the school and faculty hate me because the professor was a huge social justice warrior, but I could care less.

They also knew better to try any retaliation because I was ready and just praying they would try. But, they licked their wounds and left me alone probably because I had means and knew people. Had I been a normal student with nothing I guarantee they would have railroaded me.

@Bauber @cyclonengineer

Y’all donated to schools that you paid to go to?

Other than my fraternity chapter I only donate when they offer to send me swag for like $20 donations.

I did for a few years to the student association.

Every college has one but I don’t know if anyone knows what it does. And it’s unnecessary offices like that which contribute to the rising costs of college.

The sjw woke agenda is creeping into all departments. They want to decolonize science and math, which means make those fields easier because they don’t think anyone who isn’t a white, heterosexual male (or Asian) can succeed in those fields. Their logic is that since males are more likely to major in something like math, math must be sexist.

I bet you are the type of person to assume 2+2=4 like some bigot.

2+2 only equals 4 if it feels that way on the inside.

Completely agree.

TN has a program called TIPS that if you are a minority it guarantees you a spot in a state law school if you complete a 12-week course over the summer regardless of your undergrad GPA or LSAT scores.

We had 12 TIPS participants start law school with me. 1 made it to graduation.

So, 12 spots out of 110 got taken by unqualified candidates.

The law school roughly has 3800-4500 applicants per year.

Fucking idiots.
By that logic humanities and social sciences should be sexist too, since females are more likely to major in those.

That’s a silly place to draw the line. Either you believe that observable characteristics define what a person is, or you believe that a person has full discretion to define what he or she is. Trans-species makes no less sense than transgender.

I understand true transsexual have gender dysphoria. If presenting as the opposite sex makes their life easier that’s fine with me (Look up opinions on stuff by Buck Angel, Blair white - ā€œoffensive trannyā€ on youtube - they all are reasonable people and recognize that their issue is a psychological medical conditon). All those I mentioned know they are either a man/woman but want to present as the opposite gender. No issues with any of that at all. They are not claiming to be non-human.

Heck, I am like 75% of the way to Buddhist and am open to the idea of past lives as different animals/spirits etc…but am fully aware that right now I am human.
