How do you think this requirement would affect mass shootings? Do you think there is going to be a question on the application that asks if you plan on committing a mass shooting? If so, do you think people planning to commit mass shootings would answer honestly? I donāt even understand this thought process.
Then how do you not realize what ANY further restriction to guns ends in the āgood guysā being less able to own guns?
Iāve seen you in support of a couple different items Iāve posted against here (like universal basic income) but you havenāt actually supported your position in any meaningful way. Are you actually considering why you support something before being on board, or do you follow along party lines blindly?
As a general rule, anything that comes across even remotely infringing on a constitutionally upheld right MUST be questioned and scrutinized in the most intense manner.
I just stated my opinion, that is all.
And did nothing to back it up. That is why Iām pressing you. If you cannot support your opinion, it is an invalid opinion. Not because we disagree, but because you donāt know why you have the opinion that you do. If you understand why you have that opinion - your opinion is no longer invalid, regardless of if we agree or not.
