Sometimes the tears just well up and you can’t control it. You shouldn’t feel bad about crying in a forum. It’s more important that you learn from the emotional release.
Pants are not worn for protection - they are worn to cover your genitals from view. This is a classic example of a non-sequitur. If A then F - there is no logic there.
The fact that you thought it was funny demonstrates your lack of empathy. You don’t trust yourself so you virtue signal, to pretend you are one of the good guys when you lack the discretion to recognize ambiguity.
Get a tissue, wipe those tears away and remember the old song:
Like a clown I appear to be glad (sad, sad, sad, sad)
Now they’re some sad things known to man
But ain’t too much sadder than
The tears of a clown when there’s no one around
Jesus you are making insane leaps from one picture shared in the intentionally funny low content stupid thread aren’t you?
I can’t tell if you’re doubling down because you don’t know why you made a big deal in the first place or not. As Cali said all the stuff in this thread and this gets you upset?
Also your words of the day you’re using aren’t making the points you think they are. But I do realize virtue signaling is a popular word for what I’m guessing is a right winger? It’s also an odd complaint for someone who was upset that a football player kneeled during a song.
Also the point of the pants part going over your head isn’t lessened by you saying non sequitur. No matter how much fun you have typing it.
Obviously I am wasting my time. Not only are you too lazy to Google Fu a common term, you make a poor guess.
They appear to be insane to you because they are using words instead of pictures. Try reading The Allegory of the Cave to understand your position.
I am not doubling down - I am calling out each act of stupidity in succession. I did not make a big deal out of it. I pointed out that it was not a logical conclusion. I think that embarrassed you and that is why you are deflecting now. You are not addressing the points but attempting to shift the conversation to other inanities and calling in unwilling participants as compatriots.
Are you drunk? Because you aren’t making any sense. I made a guess at you being a right winger because in my experiences they are the ones who predominantly say virtue signaling as an insult. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen someone on this site use it that wasn’t.
When all the posters circle jerked about how awful Colin K was for kneeling in your thread did you call them out for virtue signaling? Of course not because it’s the fake wannabe intelligent version of them calling someone a bleeding heart liberal.
Ok you must be. I shared one picture off the internet and you’ve got all this figured out. You’re in a massive thread with a thousand memes and pictures. And you’re really mad about one. Damn and I thought the left was supposed to be snowflakes.
No. That was a massive thread and I remember how most of it was.
No I don’t know that or why would I have said that? I don’t believe I’ve talked to you much on here. Which is odd that you’re making all these assumptions about me without knowing much I guess based on a shared picture.
And if you truly think I would have said that if I knew you were struggling with alcoholism well then let’s say that all the judgements you thought you could make from an image couldn’t be more wrong.
The DSM V term is Substance Use Disorder, not alcoholism. Kind of demonstrates how ridiculous people can be. That’s how I feel about the mask argument. Waste of energy.
Army Chief of Staff Gen. Andika Perkasa said the army will no longer subject women to invasive tests in which the inspectors used their fingers to assess whether the hymen was intact.
For the life of me I can’t find the post anymore so you’ll just have to live with my description.
Backstory: The overwhelming majority of my Facebook is small town conservative people as that’s where I’m from and now I live in a medium sized place that’s the same. I don’t post on Facebook, but do browse it from time to time for entertainment. As might be expected a lot of people on mine are anti vaccine which includes a handful of nurses.
Anyways one shared a picture that (paraphrased) essentially showed that in Illinois you had some breakthrough cases and some breakthrough deaths. No big deal we pretty much know that’s the case. The same picture also shared that 2.5% iirc of people who died were vaccinated. Mind you this is being shared in this group as evidence that vaccines don’t work.
Imagine sharing a picture that spells out that vaccinated people in this area are overwhelmingly less likely to die from Covid as evidence that vaccines don’t work. It’s unreal. These people think that if someone who is vaccinated gets Covid the vaccines don’t help. If someone who dies from Covid was vaccinated the vaccines don’t help.
It’s almost beautiful in a sense. “How come you’re masking up or scared of Covid when only 2% die?!”
“I’m not getting the vaccine 2% of people still die!”
I am guessing you are pro vaxx, that you admittedly live in a bubble, and that you are trolling - because only trolls post any vaxx shit.
Two percent die from COVID is not accurate. In fact .0002 % of people die from COVID, and most of those have co-morbidity issues.
It’s like the meme of the fat bitch on a scooter smoking a cigarette and drinking a martini accusing you of trying to kill her because you don’t mask up outdoors.
Actually, if you contract COVID, and I have, you have a 1.7% chance of passing - and that includes the old fucks, the fat fucks, the diabetic fucks.
If you factor in the gen pop, you have a .0002 percent of mortality.
Is it worth shutting down our economy to save your grandmother?
The way you worded this is poor. Everyone is headed in the direction of getting older. I don’t think anyone is going to hit 29 and to avoid Logan’s Run consequences revert to youth and eventually crawl back up their mothers’ cunt.
I don’t know what the point of the first figure is. What % of people die because of drunk drivers? We still made it illegal.
For the second figure, is that supposed to be reassuring? If that’s the average, it means that for many people who get it, the odds of dying are more than 1.7%. I don’t know about anyone else, but if there was a virus that had a 2% chance, maybe more, of killing me, and there was a vaccine that could reduce that, or even eliminate the possibility, I would take it. How many here would gamble their lives with Russian Roulette if there was a 2% chance they would blow their head off?
This delusional post would have been (somewhat) understandable for a die hard anti vaxxer in February 2020, but a year and a half into the pandemic - well, that’s
some serious denial of reality.
Here’s a fun mental exercise - take the calculator on your phone and divide the number of excess deaths in the US in 2020 with the population. It’s a simple division.
This will significantly underestimate the number of deaths but it will give you an idea how delusional the fatality rate of 0,00002 is (I’m pretty sure you’ve mixed up percentages and real numbers somewhere along the way)
Or maybe you’re an antivaxxer and you cannot be helped.
