The Stupid Thread 2 (Part 1)

Well I suppose she’s just participating in interviews on cable news. Meanwhile people like Jared Kushner with no qualifications are making big decisions for the White House.

Just the guy who convinced Trump that testing a lot of people initially would spook the stock market so let’s not do that.

Wonder why he isn’t in the Guinness Book of World Records for that?

They’re saving the space for Biden.

I see somebody here is questioning whether really elderly can make an impact in politics…

Because it in’t a record set by drunk Irishmen in a pub?

A fair point. I wouldn’t begin to know.

Not exactly politics but: Jean Parisot de Valette.

I believe Guinness works to verify things that seem untrue before calling them records. Most people don’t have a need for that and they can say well my parents told me their parents went to this place and read this book so that’s good enough for me!

My understanding is that it originally came into existence to dispel the BS claims that drunk Irishmen were fond of claiming in the pub. I could be off there, I haven’t fact checked that or anything and I read it a long time ago somewhere.

Thank God someone is still thinking of the children.

First off, if her story is true, she’s a moron. She lets a stranger into her home and then allows him to interview her 6 year old child ALONE?

Which leads me to believe this is bullshit. I believe they are supposed to record interviews with children.

I worked for CPS for a couple of years. Interviewed the kids alone. Never recorded anything.

Maybe it varies by state.

I’m not in Marion County (where this occurred), but CPS doesn’t record conversations with my (foster) kids.

When they show up to your house, you don’t get much option. If you refuse and it’s court ordered a police officer may come.

I can believe that. She just stares at it and it freezes into dry ice.

Allegedly.

No, really. I suggest reading the book Hunting Eichmann by Neal Bascomb. Although it focuses on Eichmann (duh) it does touch upon the subject of Mengele and the first hand accounts of Mossad operatives involved in the subsequent hunt. It states that the closest they got to him was visual contact while he was flanked by his bodyguards.
