The Shield - Season 6

Well, the best show on TV is back. I watched the premier twice, and that motherfucker Kavanaugh is going to get his. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Are the 1-9ers the ones that are killing all the El Salvadorans? That was a pretty gruesome murder scene Dutch stumbled into. There had to have been at least 20 bodies in that house.

New episodes are rerun Fridays at 11 and Sundays at 10.

The season opener was awesome! Can’t wait to see how it all plays out. Kavanaugh has stooped to an all-time low! Shane deserves to die to for what he did to Lem.

Thanks man.

I was already hyper before I watched it. Man, it took a long time to calm down and get to sleep after!!!

I didn’t figure Kavanaugh would resort to one of Vic’s tricks and plant evidence. That was a suprise. I hope Kavanaugh gets caught and they get to duke it out in a real knock down drag out barn burner.

I did. Dude smashed his ex-wife, it was only a matter of time. Quite frankly I’m surprised Aceveda hasn’t tried this sort of tactic against Vic, everyone seems to have a personal vendetta against the guy.

It will also messed up how Aceveda lambasted Lem as a “crooked” cop on the television when he’s always been the one with the morals. I promise man, Aceveda gets more vindictive each season.

Also if I ever see Walton Goggins (the actor that plays Shane) in person I’m going to punch him, I can’t believe he killed Lem. Like Aceveda, it seems he’s been getting more and more stupid each season since he married Mara - and don’t even get me started on that bitch. The guy is still a GREAT actor though…

I’m glad they put her and her douchebag mother on sidelines.

I see Shane turning it around on Kavanaugh and maybe Aceveda to make up for his sins. After all, he wouldn’t have done what he did w/o their lies and tactics.

Just watching season 5 right now. Forest Whitaker is a damn fine actor.

Yeah I need to get Season 5. I was going to watch that one first since I started to watch The Shield at the end of Season 5, but I opted to start from the beginning instead. God bless Netflix.

Pretty intense tonight! Can’t believe Kavanaugh confessed. Looks like Shane might have to tell Mackey that he was the one who killed Lem. We’ll see.

Alright, last Friday night I was going to get to watch the season opener. I came home from work and waited til 11. AND FX FUCKED UP THE STATION AND I COULDNT WATCH IT!!! The sound kept cutting in and out every second, I couldnt even make out what they were saying.

Now I missed the first episode and I am going to have to wait until Friday to see the second.
Thanks FX, for ruining my last weekend.

Things are heating up in Farmington. It looks like Vick is going to put the pieces together himself. The only question is, how does he deal with Shane?

Good question. It would be damn good TV if he killed his ass.

I don’t see it happening though. They’ve been partners for years and years. I’m sure whatever happens, nobody will see it coming.

Hope you don’t mind me joining this thread, but I think The Shield is one of the best shows ever put on television.

As for how Vic is going to handle Shane, I really don’t know if he’ll kill Shane or not. Vic has his own baggage he’s carrying from killing Terry Crowley…I don’t doubt Shane will try to play that card somehow, being that he’s the only other person who knows the truth.

Of course, that’s still another good reason for Vic to off Shane…

The more the merrier.

I don’t think Vic really gives a shit about killing Terry. Terry was a filthy rat, and he got a rat’s demise. And Vic just seems to do what he needs to do. I don’t think he really has a conscience or a sense of guilt, because I think he is able to rationalize all of his actions into something that he can accept.

I’ve been a shield fan since the opener. I have followed it ever since.

Vic punching the asshole who said guys on his team die was awesome. My only real question now is will Vic find out that Lem was going to take a deal. At the end of season five he was saying to his lawyer he knew about money being taken.

Julian on the Strike Team could be bad ass as well. They haven’t really brought his character to full clarity yet. There is a lot the writers can do with Julian’s character.

Honestly the new guy doesn’t seem that bad…

I agree, the new guy is pretty solid thus far. As for Julian, I just hope they leave the closet homo plot line in the closet. That shit was annoying.

The new guy definitely seems pretty solid. So far, so good. I’m also glad to see Julian in a bigger role. I agree, his character hasn’t seen anywhere near enough development, and hopefully the writers focus on his development as an officer, and not on his personal life.

If any of you have not seen the “web-isode” that bridged Season 5 and Season 6, you need to. What a great way to show how decent a guy Lem truly was.

I’m actually even glad to see Dutch getting a little more treatment, although he is an annoying bastard from time to time. And that whole thing with him killing tha cat back in Season 3 or 4…WTF?
